I was a Sonicare user but grossly underwhelmed with the "DiamondClean" toothbrush performance that did not clean nearly as well as advertised. The Oral-B GENIUS X LUXE Electric Toothbrush blows the Sonicare DiamondClean out of the water; much less plaque buildup when I am too tired or forget to floss. Yes, I am not perfect and do not floss some days. I have been getting better by setting reminders to get myself in front of that mirror. Enough of my personal shortcomings... (tautology and is the ellipsis necessary?) My teeth always have the fresh out of the dentist clean feel to them after using the Oral-B toothbrush, something the Sonicare never lived up to... (preposition at the end of the sentence... I do not mind) The brush gives you a visible alert when your brushing too hard, as well as distinct tactile notice of when you should move on to the next section of your teeth. The app can assist you with visible brushing information through your phone. The app worked for a couple of weeks, and now I cannot pair with my toothbrush. I did not care about the functionality of the app, but it was a nice little extra. My wife and I have the same brush, different colors, and think that there may be a problem with having two brushes in the same bathroom. I forwarded the issue to the app developers. A luxury toothbrush- great for stepping up your oral hygiene game! The battery lasts a week or more when fully charged which is awesome. It’s pretty to look at. I love the sensor that tells you if you’re brushing too hard. I haven’t used the Bluetooth/ app consistently but it’s fun to look at and track your brushes if you wanted to. Still don’t know if the price is a good price. It felt kind of crazy buying such an expensive toothbrush but I think it’s going to last a very long time. Happy with my purchase ... show more

My first time using a electronic toothbrush and I love it. The clean you feel afterwards is like no other, and I don't see myself going back almost relatable to a when you go to the dentist to get a cleaning. I haven't connected it to my phone manly because I don't see a reason to get that involved in brushing, but I do love to feature every minute it reminds you to switch which is all I really need. If its your first time make the switch I see no reason why you wouldn't make the jump to this especially if your going to spend this type of money. Just get it out the way so you're not buying a ton of electric tooth brushes. I take it to work because I work a 12 hour night shift so before I leave I brush I have nothing bad to say about it. If i were to knit pick I would say the price but other electric brushes out there are around the same price. ... show more
