Pretty Cool Bike... They went to lots of trouble to ship the bike in a thicker cardboard box with foam wrapping most parts and covering the frame. Unfortunately, they placed the entire bike minus the front tire on the front forks and just stuck a plastic pad under them. My box arrived looking fairly decent with the usual bangs and scuffs, and the front forks nearly falling out of the front edge of the box. As I attached the front tire, which was an unusual procedure more like motorcycles, the hex bolts did not thread in properly into the aluminum front forks. I don't know if this was an engineering glitch or damage in shipping. Once assembled, I was actually quite impressed. It is not an electric motorcycle, nor is it a rocket ship, but it has nice power to act as an electric bicycle capable of taking you places beyond the streets. I first thought the power was dropping to quick on my first test ride, but after charging all night the first time, it was a totally different story. I went on a 2 mile test ride the next day and the power barely dropped (don't remember the numbers). The display is a lot cooler than another electric bike I have and another I used to have. It is actually designed to be attractive and cool, and at night when you have your cell phone on the included holder next to it, it is a cool setup. The front light is quite cool in that it makes it look almost like a motorcycle, and gives pretty good illumination at night. The only things I might suggest to improve would be a quick release front tire (like everyone else), possibly a quick release handlebar (like many foldables have), a more cushy seat (instead of a racing seat), and possibly someway to attach a drink holder ohter than on the rear rack. Overall, it was an expensive bike, but I did not want to pay 6 grand for a namebrand one, and I think with a few after market upgrades it will be a cool bike for traveling. ... show more

The bike seemed nice, but I'm having some problems with the pedal assist and simply cannot get a response from Opeak customer service. The bike wants to just take off after only about a half a revolution on the pedals, which is a little dangerous. I've tried correcting this in the advanced settings on the display but many of them can't be accessed. Update: customer service did get back to me and did offer support, but really didn't fix the problem. I did my own work around and like the bike as it is ... show more

The support team offered a return of the bike and responded promptly. We decided to get an additional battery pack and it seems to help. We didn't want to go through the hassle of returning but they did offer. We recently had a break issue from my son crashing and they are sending a replacement part. Quick response! Like the performance overall. But the folding pedal was damaged in shipping on one of the bikes. Called to get resolved on lunch hour, was on hold for too long . Just been dealing with it.     • Two Broken Bicycles - Time and Trouble to return

First, we paid for expedited shipping on two e-bikes to use for a weekend trip. One bicycle arrived as expected, the second did not. We had to contact the shipper to confirm that we did, in fact, order and pay for two. They overnighted the second e-bike, which is the best they could do at that point. The first e-bike seemed like it'd be great. That is, until it was ridden and was making a squealing noise. Was it the motor or the brakes? The second e-bike did not run at all! We assembled it, charged it, tried to run by peddling (it was just like a super heavy 8-speed bicycle), we tried the throttle assist, the hill assist, every trick they could throw our way, and it would not run. Overfly sent a replacement motor for noisy bike and control box for dead bike. I then had to pull out tools to disassemble two brand new e-bikes to try and fix them so they would run properly. Good thing I have a set of torx, or I never would have been able to get to the motor within the wheel to attempt to change it out! Results after three + hours of manual labor? Identical to before I started troubleshooting. One noisy bike and one non-electric pedal bike. By this point I asked just to return the things. What a terrible waste of time and effort. I have had my bike for about 3 weeks… the second ride the motor assist totally cut out… after about 5 minutes of sitting it then saturated to function again. Since then the motor assist has cut out on any hills with resistance. As you pedal up a hill,,, NO POWER, Not fun pushing a 75lb. Bike up a hill,,, Contacted the seller, the said they would send a new controller. A little over a week later I received the part,,,, in brown box.. no instructions just the part. On my new $1800.00 dollars bike I now have to try to figure out how to install this part and hope it works. …. Would not recommend this bike … ... show more
