The Onyx General Purpose vest features classic open sided styling at an affordable price. Quick release buckles and 1" belts provide a secure fit. These vests are U.S. Coast Guard approved. Available in infant, child, youth, adult universal and adult oversize to outfit the entire family, and bright colors to add visibility on the water. The Adult Universal vest fits chest sizes of 30" - 52", and over 90 lbs and Oversize vest fits chest sizes of 40" - 60", and over 90 lbs.

Looks and feels a little small. It stops above my belly button. Most of the people saying it doesn't fit simply forgot how to extend straps. It is able to open up wide.

This vest is WAY too small. I tried it on and it barely closed across my chest. I'm not flat-chested, but I'm 5'2" and it should fit. My husband put it on and it also barely closes and rides way up in the back. He's 6'0" and about 190 lbs. This in no way fits an adult of any size or shape.

Overall the vest is as advertised. That said, I'm 6'1 and about 240 lbs and the vest barely fits me so if a person is larger than that, this vest may not be the best for you. It is lightweight, very cost effective and stores easily so I do recommend the vest.
