Loved playing with this brand. Great control. Playing 3 times a week for a couple of weeks and then paddle broke . I am heart broke with the poor quality. It broke at the top of the handle right in half.

My husband got into Pickelball 3 yrs ago. He tried a few paddles and then tried this one. It is the only one he uses. He just bought the exact same one now 3 yrs later. He had some of the players try his old one and they are looking at buying it. Great price right now.

When you buy a pickleball paddle, especially a pro-level paddle, it's important that it weighs the appropriate weight. The Evoke Pro is supposed to weigh 7.8-8.2 ounces. The day I tried it out, I thought it felt a little heavy. I put it on a scale and it weighed in at 8.5 ounces. That is heavier than I wanted and quite a bit over the listed specs. I contacted Onix and received an initial response, but nothing thereafter. I will be returning this one. Buyer beware on the Onix paddles - make sure to weigh it yourself and that it will fit your needs. FYI, my paddles from other manufacturers were dead on with their listed weights. UPDATE 7/17/20: Onix finally got back to me, and sent me a replacement paddle, no questions asked. I weighed the new paddle, and it came in at 8.2 oz, which is at the top of the range. Changed my rating to 4 stars, due to the excellent customer service from Onix. They make great paddles, but I would still be aware that the actual weight may not match the specs, and may not be what you need. ... show more
