This ended up not working for me, but the product did exactly what it was supposed to and should work for applications smaller than what I was looking for. I needed a blade that was 7-10" wide and I couldn't find one anywhere that fit the circumference of this unit's chuck. It almost worked, but couldn't get all our mixture to flow with the size of the included blade. Highly recommended, I would gladly pay for a larger one if they made it. This is a fine overhead stirrer. The price is great. It's very easy to use and no chuck is needed to hook up and remove the stirring shaft. Excellent value for the price. I ordered the overhead stiffer for a small lab atmosphere, it was mounted to a base we had from a previous mixer. The unit functions as expected, there are no issues - noting we have been using it five days a week for the last month.
