I needed a new lamp for my reading corner and it’s PERFECT! the little foot button to turn it on is so practical for small spaces behind chairs so you don’t have to reach over to turn it on! It’s really bright and would only be better if it had a dimmer but I’m not complaining it’s so cute for the price too and includes a lightbulb which I was surprised about. First the light is very solid. The base I was impressed with how heavy it actually was. It was easy to assemble. The frame of the lamp is a nice metal in the shade was made of glass. This is important to note because it does make it quite fragile, but was impressed by the quality. The light turns off and on by pressing on the button on the floor as you can see in the photos. Unfortunately the color the light emits is very dull and made the room that it is in not bright enough. Hopefully this was only due to the provided lightbulb, and that with changing to a slightly brighter bulb, I will get the desired feel in my room. Overall, this lamp has a modern sleek design. The price is comparable to other lamps of this style. I would recommend, but with a few reservations definitely needs a different light on and if you have children or pets that might get near your lamp important to keep it in a spot they cannot access as the shade is glass and the lamp overall is quite heavy. ... show more

It is a beautiful lamp and easy to assemble. I do have a word of caution though. The base isn’t very big, if it was in a high traffic area I think it might get knocked over. We have it in a bedroom which keeps it nestled in a corner.

I love this beautiful tulip shaped lamp. It’s an eye catcher in our living room and gives great, soft and yellow light for the evening. We received an email of the brand before our delivery that if tere would be any problem, of if the glass would be broken to make sure to let them know so they can replace it. But ours arrived in perfect condition and it was easy to assemble. Great customer service on their part. It’s a simple elegant design and looks like a tulip flower about to open.
