Allows high flow rates with very low pressure drop.The inlet high-flow shut-off control valve will allow a slow rinse resulting in improved water quality and greater capacity. 360 degree swivel for easy connection of inlet hose. We bought this softener to use with our RV. Every camp ground we have used has the hardest water and it is impossible to get a good soap lather going for a shower or even just washing your hands. This softener takes that hardness out and allows for suds galore! We also were concerned about build up in the plumbing on the trailer but feel that this unit will help prevent it. Purchased this to control the hardness for my hot tub. Water hardness was way too high in the tub. Drained, cleaned, and filled using the on the go. Worked perfectly and hardness levels are perfect now.

Easy to hook up to outside hose. I tested the water going in and water filling the hot tub and it worked just as needed. Photo shows water tested before going into water softener on right and water after the softener on the left.

    • Works as advertised. Check rubber o-ring in cap.
Over a good product. Wasn't too happy about a leak.. mine immediately leaked from the top plastic cap. Removed cap and rubber o-ring wasn't installed/seated properly and was crushed/pinched and had some damage. I did my best to save the o-ring and re-seated it as well as I could. Leak is down to a slow drip. This really should come with a spare o-ring or two. Other than that, seems good. Will update review after first recharge. I will also need to find new o-rings, too. ... show more

    • Perfect for RV life!
I got this to combat the VERY hard desert water I'm almost always in. My plumbing was becoming a mess of white deposits and breaking down because of it. Hard water spots everywhere. This unit I can use either inline in RV parks, but also inline as I fill the onboard fresh water tank to prepare for dry-camping trips. It's quickly drained and small/light enough to lay in a motorhome bay between uses. I can tell a big difference in just 3 weeks or so. My kitchen looks better, dishes, the shower walls, and the feel of soft water is pleasant too. It even tastes better! And I love washing my long hair with it. I look forward to longer lasting faucets, toilet valves/seals, etc. With my use it's not going to need "regeneration" very often at all. And even that only takes a few minutes and $1 worth of table salt from the grocery store. Wish I'd gotten this sooner! ... show more
