Pretty much does the job of protection. I myself use headphones practically all the time and its pretty sturdy. The fit is pretty snug around the case. I didn't have to use the adhesion for the top part of the cover. Bonus for me. The case is a bit bulky but it's personal preference. Doesn't bother me as I know I need the stability of a cover. It is rubber, but thick rubber. I like the look of "carbon". As far as the clip, I didn't use the ring. Didn't feel sturdy to use it, just used the clip. Overall satisfied. Not necessarily the best looks but it fits perfectly and keeps earbuds safe. I like the security latch to avoid loosing the earbuds if you drop the case. Overall good value, would recommend.

It works fantastic and helps keep the part of my original case at broken in place. I've had no problems with it. Mostly, I see the latch failing to function in time. The cap can come off, but so far not easily, though I expect that will change in time. It's fine for a year or two, and at the price point, I suppose that's ok.
