I'm female, but I bought these men's glasses because I wear my glasses on top of my head a lot -so they tend to break quickly. I liked that the men's frames are wider and the lenses are larger than some women's glasses. What I didn't consider is that the "arms" of these glasses are longer than women's glasses too, so they tend to slip down my nose while reading, and off my head if I bend down while wearing them. They hold together decently compared to the ones I used to get locally at the "buck store", but more importantly, the optical quality is way better. I got 9 weeks out of the first pair before the temple piece snapped off, and that isn't too bad - at least when you consider the alternatives at this price point. That's 47 cents a week.
