The lights are really bright (and can be dimmed with the remote), they were easy to hang with light clips and the remote works well. They even held up through torrential rain and wind that we got earlier in the week. The reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5 is because the colors in the photo do not exactly represent the colors of the lights. There are 4 alternating colors: red, orange, green and blue. Bought these lights for my Christmas tree. Was a little worried that they were going to be yellow but they look great. I got the soft white. It was enough lights to do my whole tree and they look beautiful. I don’t really like any of the flashing settings on the remote - but that’s fine with me. Remote works, but only a few feet away and directly in line of sight. If the ends allowed for multiple strands I would buy several of these for the outside of the house.
