When I need palm oil to create my homemade natural soaps, I usually order from a well-known company .. however at times and due to the pandemic, all orders from that large company have taken a long time to be processed and shipped ..therefore I have come to Amazon to order this product more than once. Every time it has worked well and never let me down. The only problem is the price: it is double what I pay with the other company however they do not charge for shipping and the price ends up being the same as the one from the major company. Love the product hate the packaging. Very difficult to get out of the jug. I actually have transferred mine into large used coconut oil containers because it is easier to use that way.

So, I saw the picture. I knew this came in a JUG (of all things) and figured that's why it was a good value over what I normally buy. The picture, however, didn't prepare me for it. It's solid oil in a jug. If you heat it, you're risking melting plastic along with releasing chemicals into your oil. A spoon will not fit in the mouth. You can't squeeze it out, unless you only need a quarter teaspoon. You will end up cutting this open while wondering why you ordered this in the first place, BUT it's a very good quality. ...b/c this comes packaged just as pictured. However, I was under the impression that it was in liquid form versus solid. It wasn't until I opened it & saw that the oil was solid, did I think... How & the hell am I gonna get this out. So I literally had to cut it in half & then in 4's in order to transfer to another container with easier access. ... show more

The product is fine, but it came a week later than I was told to expect it by. I wouldn’t trust the estimated delivery time at all, especially if you need it by a certain date like I did. They also won’t let me return it now that I don’t need it anymore. Be wary of the return policy.

I have no complaints about the palm oil. It’s quality is great and consistent. Unfortunately removing the palm oil from this particular container (to get greater saving per ounce) is less than ideal. Unless you are living in the middle of a Arizona summer the palm oil will be solidified in some way, reheating the oil in the microwave over and over to get it out the consistency will change. If that is going to be an issue I would suggest the smaller container they make. ... show more
