  • Exactly What I Was Looking For
Color: White Size: King
I’m very picky when it comes to bedding. This feels soft. It’s the perfect weight. It’s not light weight, but not heavy either. It’s hard to describe but it maintains a comfortable temperature. My husband and I would always complain about either being too cold or hot, but not with this one. I would buy this 100x over. ... show more

  • Great Value
Color: White Size: King
I find this to be a great lighter weight duvet insert that doesn’t look like a pancake. It fit my king duvet cover well and the little corner tabs help keep the insert in place. I like that it is made of a soft viscose versus a polyester shell. My husband tends to sleep hot but he has not complained about this cover being on the bed so far. We have had cooler nights lately so hopefully I can keep it on the bed during the hot summers. Overall happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Perfect weight and not hot!!!
Color: White Size: Queen
I like a little cozy weight but I get hot. This blanket is just heavy enough to feel cozy but very cool!! There are cheaper ones but this worth the extra bucks

  • Skeptical Of The Brand
Color: White Size: King
I decided to purchase a king duvet insert and I came upon this. Pros: 1. Felt soft and great. 2. Felt cool to the touch 3. Works great with my cooling duvet. 4. It got “fluffed” after a couple of days. Cons: 1. The website for warranty is extremely sketchy! Almost like a virus looking website. 2. Some of the threads were loose and sticking out. 3. Due to the loose threads, I am not sure how long it will hold up if you wash it. 4. Hold the duvet in the light and you will notice the filling in each square doesn’t look equal amounts. Overall, I think it’s good, but I have my doubts, I hope the warranty is honored when the threads eventually come loose. ... show more

  • pretty and practical
Color: White Size: King
I own a wide variety of printed comforters and quilts, but sometimes I want something simpler, more in line with what I would find at a pricey hotel, for instance, with simple boxed stitching and only white in color, for a calming atmosphere in my bedroom after a long hard day working. I saw this and it looked like a reasonable option to try, as I have bamboo sheets already, and have worn Tencel clothing in the past, liking its easy care and good looks. After ordering it, the comforter came quickly, in a much smaller box than I expected, as king size comforters are NOT tiny things! It was vacuumed packed, which makes a lot of sense, and helps save in shipping and handling costs too. After releasing it from its plastic wrap, i threw it over the top of a spare bed once it was shaken out, to expand and air out to its full size. I left it alone for a couple of days, and then went to inspect it! The comforter is so nicely stitched, plus it has corner ties so using it with a duvet cover is easier and the comforter won't travel inside the cover! It isn't heavy, and if using it alone, without a cover, the fabric is soft to the touch. A huge plus is the fact that this is machine washable, since I have two cats who LOVE to sleep on my bed and they shed a lot of grey or black fur! Money-wise, it is comparably priced to other down-alternative comforters, and considerably less expensive than down which has to be dry-cleaned usually, so this bamboo comforter is both affordable and easy to care for! Very happy with my new bedding! ... show more

  • Great, More on the Expensive Side, Too High in Regards to Pricing
Color: White Size: Queen
First things first; the blanket is comfortable and seems to be of a pretty good quality, but given the viscose, the more important topic is the certification they talk about. It's definitely positive that there is some third-party testing rather than none. Viscose, a semi-synthetic fiber used in blankets, has been associated with potential health risks due to the chemicals used in its production. Some of the chemicals released during the manufacturing process have been linked to health issues such as cancer, birth defects, and skin conditions. However, it's important to note that these risks are primarily associated with the production phase and may not directly translate to health risks from using viscose blankets. The use of viscose in bedding is primarily due to its soft texture and comfort, but it's worth considering the potential health and environmental impacts associated with its production. While there are concerns about the chemicals used in the production of viscose, it's essential to highlight that the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, which tests textiles against a list of over 1,000 chemicals, can provide assurance regarding the safety of viscose blankets for consumers. This certification ensures that the blankets have been tested for harmful substances and are considered safe for use. That being said: The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 has created new rules for PFAS in their certification, which include testing for PFAS chemicals. However, it's important to note that the certification is not exactly PFAS-free. The new rules state that fabrics and products need to be tested for organic fluorine, but the testing approach they mandate doesn't extract all PFAS polymers, such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), also known as "Teflon". While Oeko-Tex has the goal to phase out all PFAS chemicals for apparel textiles over the next few years, it's important to be aware that the current certification may not completely exclude all PFAS substances. Therefore, when considering the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for blankets, it's essential to be mindful of the limitations of the certification in terms of PFAS exclusion and to look for additional assurances if a PFAS-free product is desired. So, I can't tell you if you will be getting what you are after. It seems this brand is at least making an effort to give people a good product, which is more you can say about 95% of other brands. Is this worth the $90 price point. I personally think it is pushing it, but if what I wrote above sounds good to you, I also don't think you are making a big mistake buying this blanket, given that the quality seems to be good compared to other similar products. ... show more
