I have spent a fortune over the years on various brands of olive oil, most of them so bitter that I either had to return them or throw them away. I really can't stand that astringent bitterness or that peppery taste that burns my throat. Instead, I prefer buttery sweet olive oil, but those are hard to find. I have given this brand 4 stars only because it's not as sweet and fruity as I would have liked (4.5 would be accurate). However, it's far superior to almost every other brand I've tried. It has an underlying sweetness and buttery sensation without the harshness present in so many other brands. I have used it for dipping and cooking, and it's excellent for both. This is an excellent product. However, I had a major issue with the shipping of this item. One bottle came broken. I will try to find this from a different shipper as this is an expensive item.

This olive oil is fantastic! Perfect for your favorite Italian recipes. It also makes a great dipping oil. Just add some herbs and perhaps some parmesan cheese. This oil is worth every penny.
