This laser/light combo is so much better than expected. Very high and bright lumens, a long-range light in combination with the laser makes it so useful. This light is easy to install, use and the laser is actually visible in daylight (faint, but visible). I've been using the Olight Baldr Light for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Pros: -Build Quality: The construction is solid, with a robust aluminum body that feels durable and well-made. It's compact yet sturdy, perfect for mounting on my firearm. -Brightness: The 1350-lumen output is incredibly powerful, illuminating my target area even in the darkest conditions. The beam is clean and focused, with a good balance between flood and throw. -Laser Sight: The green laser is a game-changer. It’s bright, visible even in daylight, and extremely accurate. This flashlight laser hybrid is awesome. Very very bright flashlight. Very bright laser. Ambidextrous controls for on/off are easy to use and in a good position for quick use. The color is very nice, as well as the finish. It appears to be very sturdy in build quality. The quick connect clamp is a nice touch and has held zero after repeated removal and reinstallation, which is very impressive. Edited: I just discovered the temporary and extra bright modes. I really like this light. Bought it for my 19X. Great match. Super bright. Activation switch function is excellent and well thought out. Green laser is super bright and visible in daylight. QD lever is easily adjusted and works great. My only complaint is the mode selection switch. It is a small rotating tab that is located on the bottom of the light. It’s location makes it a little vulnerable to unintentional mode change in my opinion. Especially if you are removing or inserting in a holster. I was torn between giving 4 or 5 stars. I went with 5. At this time I’m not using this pistol in a holster so I’m simply speculating and I have not had an issue with it. I did consider using this on a rifle handguard. The way I use my rifles I can almost promise unintentional mode change. You might expect laser+light function and only get laser. Again, speculation. I have not experienced this. Other than that the pros far outweigh this one con. For the price it is very impressive. You would pay double for the Streamlight version which I use on a few rifles. If they made the Olight mode switch a little less exposed it would be perfect “For me”. Now if someone frequently changes modes and wants a switch that is easy to locate and easy to change modes, they might find this design perfect. Regardless it’s a great light and I recommend trying one and seeing what you think. ... show more

Functions as described. Bright and 3 settings are great. One note, when turning the light on it is importantly to push the on button near the. Bottom. Otherwise it does not stay on. Perhaps just my unit. Took me a while to figure it out.

I posted a question concerning adjusting the laser for proper point of impact and failed to unfold the included instructions fully to reveal this part of the paper manual. To add self insult to self injury I missed this section of the PDF version of this manual by glancing quickly thru it instead of actually reading it. Total fail on my part. But with being said, considering the price and intended use of this item, a more detailed instruction manual seems very much in order in view of the price and item's functional intent. The actual performance, build quality, and functionality of this unit is tops for the price. Durability under use remains to be seen by my actual use, but reviews have all been very favorable thus far concerning this matter. Day time performance under strong sunlight is very impressive and functional for the majority of most likely distances of actual use. The only other short coming besides a more detailed manual in my view is that it lacks a "pulsed /blinking" function for the laser which generally aids the ability to see the laser dot quickly for faster aiming. Outside of these 2 matters, this item is still worthy of serious consideration for purchase by buyers looking for such a firearm Tactical light / laser combo. Highly recommended. ... show more
