This bed seems to be very sturdy and I feel safe with kids on top bunk. I will say that it wasn't really hard to put together but very time consuming. The instructions are pretty clear but could be clearer on certain steps. All and all seems good. Oh yes, it comes in 2 boxes, When delivered they only brought the first box and I thought the manufacturer didn't send all the parts. We needed something for our grandkids to sleep on when they sleep over but the room is not very big. This solved that problem. Takes 2 to put together but the instructions are easy to read and we got it up in a couple hours. Very sturdy and looks great!

It took a little time to put together but nothing unbearable. I love that it has a trundle so extra sleep space if needed. I wish it was a little more sturdy. Overall I like it and it’s good for the price.

Upon delivery we found that several of the support rods were damaged and bent. We chose to put all of those on the trundle bed for safety reasons. Two of the facade screws on the upper bunk just plain spun around so those required super glue to keep then on. The main frame materials were decent. I had to cut to size a sheet of 1/2" plywood to put on the upper bunk for child safety. Bent rods from a bouncing 3 year old on the bunk were a concern. We are going to do the same for all the bunks. The second image shows a bent rod. See the 1/2" gap between plywood sheet where my finger is at. Squeaking from small child rolling (the upper support rods) over drove my 1st grade daughter crazy. The plywood sheets solved the safety and squeaking issues. ... show more

Assembling this one took several hours, but my husband and I were able to get it done. It probably would’ve went faster if we had a third person to help, especially once you have to install the top bunk to the frame. But it’s a great looking bed and pretty sturdy. My 9 year old loves it.

For what I was charged for this bed it hasn't been a year and we've had to repair 4 times. NOT STURDY AT ALL has a very weak structure. None of my kids weight 100lbs so for the weight bearing capacity to only be around 70 percent it's unacceptable. This was an expensive bed with low quality don't get this if you love your kids because this bed is hazardous. And my husband has been a technician for over a decade so I kno it's not us or the treatment of the product since my kids only sleep in their beds. Smh don't buy this it's cheaper to build your own and more reliable too. ... show more

I received a call a little after we received the frame from customer service to ask how the bed was and if we had any issues putting it together. I had explained that we had not built the bed yet because we were still in the process of moving. Well we finally put the bunk bed together with ease and no issues. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and no pieces were missing or mislabeled.
