The media could not be loaded. Love the feel of this knife, buttery smooth, the copper scales look awesome. Being 154cm steel should hold its edge pretty well, fits the hand well, all around great knife for edc, did need to strop it at first for the edge to get the way I like it when first getting a knife, but it was sharp right out of the box. The overall shape and feel of the knife is really good. The blade has a nice, simple drop point profile which is what I was looking for. And the handle is also a simple, copper handle with a pretty neutral grip. Again. What I wanted. But the finishing on the blade is pretty boring. Just brushed. I think a fine satin finish or a stonewashed finish would have suited the look better ... show more

    • Gorgeous knife in a good steel for a good price

I love this knife. The copper scales are absolutely beautiful. I immediately shipwrecked them, and it came out great. The Olight company has a good reputation for a reason, and this knife fits it. I'll keep this review relatively brief. For the most part, I have no issues with the knife. The only problem I have, and this is honestly not a big deal, is that the knife has a tiny recurve in the belly. I personally hate recurved knives because they're a pain to sharpen, but this one wasn't that bad. It took a good edge, feels good in the hand, and the pocket clip is decent. The knife IS heavy, but it has copper scales, so that's kind of expected. The detent is pretty good, I didn't have any real problem with it. It's not the best detent ever but I haven't ever failed to flip without trying to. The weight of the blade makes that test a little unfair, but regardless, you can fail to flip it if you try. I like 154 CM just fine, and obviously I'd have preferred CPM-154, but I'm fine paying this price for it. Overall, it's pretty good. There are probably better options out there at this price point from a utility or value for money perspective, but none of them are gonna have copper scales and 154 CM ... show more

The knife looks great and I really like the copper finish and blade. But I find it very hard to open using the flipper tab - the detent is so strong that after 4-5 flips my finger hurts. I have a dozen great flipper knives and none of them are anywhere near as hard to open. Will return and get another one hoping the detent is softer on the new one. UPDATE: 2nd knife is as hard to open as the 1st one so I assume it's just the way it is. Still like the finish and the blade but it's really not a very fun flipper. Down to 2 stars. UPDATE #2: 18 months after purchase (always stored in knife case) and the copper has almost all worn off and the patina is a blotchy brown - down to 1 star ... show more
