Cushion compresses and stays like that after using it for a while. Still decent enough though. update: I went from 4 stars after the first couple weeks, to 3 stars about 2 months in, and now 7 months later, I'm giving it a 1 star. The cushion on this chair has just completely given up and has compressed into a thin, tough pancake. I ended up having to buy a seat cushion so my butt wouldn't hurt so much sitting on this. This is a really well built chair. The price isn't too bad. This is the perfect chair if you are not wanting to spend more that $100 for a gaming chair. Just wait for it to go on sale below $100 otherwise full price is slightly above that which is still not bad of a price. Watch out for the negative reviews. I have read through and a lot of those are misleading. Or people just wanting to be difficult and give a lower rating than normal. Also for what it's worth, this chair has a weight limit of 250 pounds, but I weigh close to 350 and this chair is supporting my weight. I don't recommend you getting this chair if you are heavier than 350 though, that's where things could become an issue but I'd say for almost any chair there is a 100 pound threshold. With the exception of the $50 chair that I was using for 4 years. That chair had a weight limit of 150 pounds and I was using that as my work and gaming chair and had no problems and I have been 300+ the last 4 years. If you made it this far I should probably also tell you that I sit in this chair probably 16 hours a day total if not more. I have had 0 pain issues and it remains comfortable throughout the entire day. Now on to the not so positives: The instructions are weird. If you made it this far this will really help you out. The instructions say to put the arms on the base, then put the base on the pedestal that you put into the wheels so the chair is almost put together then it tells you to put the base on afterward. Do not do this. I skipped doing that because I knew it would be a hard time. I don't know how hard because I skipped that step but still put the base and the back and arms on all together before you sit the chair on the base pedestal. I like it enough to give it 4 stars with a word of caution about aesthetics and potential misalignment. The one I got was on sale and gray. The major bad news: This chair kind of looks lopsided when finally put together and all the screws tightened. Was it a misalignment of the holes? I don't know. It sits level but there's something wonky with the way it looks. I'm not ambitious enough to prove the point as that this could also just be cheap upholstery issue giving a look like it's all goofed up. The good news: I sat in it and it's pretty darn comfortable. which is the only reason it keeps a 4 star rating here - function over aesthetics. Again, I'm not sure if I'm being taken by an optical goof up due to bad pattern sewing on the upholstry or a real misalignment but it works, that's what I really bought it for. It came with all the parts and some spares. It was only about 20 minutes to put together. The air adjustment works. Price was reasonable for what I got, even goofy upholstery or whatever. I really like that the armrests arms move and are cushy. I had to have them for when I type but I have a trapped ulnar nerve in my left arm so support has to be squishy, this is great. But when I paint I need to move the arms up, out of my way. This is perfect. I'll update if something malfunctions or the chair goofs up my back. But so far it feels good, everything works.
