As a foreigner i always learning more words and doing my best at communicating. We played this game with my husband and my friends, they all american. I had few troubles remembering words but overall it worked and actually helped to learn more words. It’s fun game and we had a great time.

In depth thoughts: As a regular board game player, I must confess I am not quick to review any item. Truthfully, I've probably given less than a dozen reviews although I am a regular online shopper. I preface that to say that WE LOVED this game! The rules were easy to follow and even made us laugh. A few times. That brought smiles to our frozen faces as we endured a long, icey night in Austin Texas with no power. Thankful to have a friend to pass the time by the wood burning fire, Matt and I chose this game that was purchased for such night-in occasions. With a lantern and a headlamp we played through the first 10 card rounds with ease. Somewhere around card 3 we noticed that the creators included their picture and a phone number in the package. What would you do if you had this information? Well maybe you're like me and you capture the moment with a selfie and text said creators telling them of your shenanigans. Let them know their game warmed your hearts and made you smile! Yep that's what I did! What happened next you ask… someone texted back!!! Yes the game was great but the response back made my day! I am thankful for the way this game helped us pass the time and brought joy and lots of laughs. I've already added another of their games to my cart and look forward to seeing what fun it may bring. This game set itself apart in many ways and I hope you enjoy it too! ... show more

This take on Scattegories is fun. We played with 4, and the timer didn't seem to give enough time. The categories were adult which was fun sometimes and contrived other times. Maybe it will help me increase my Adult Language. Enjoy with any type of adults, it really is hard to not have a good time playing it. ... show more

Played this at a friend's New Years' Eve party and could not wait to get my hands on my own! So easy to learn and play, we even let the kids participate though they didn't understand all the funny things everyone was writing. The game is really open to interpretation--innocent, clean fun to play with your kids or older parents, or can be spiced up if you're playing with close friends/adults. I will be taking this to all our get-togethers--even people who don't like games can get on board with this one! ... show more

I like the concept of this game, played it with a group of 7. Everyone writes their answers and the group votes to accept or not accept. We found the criteria for accepting or rejecting a players answer was way to vague. Very arbitrary and confusing. You can scan the QR Code on the box and watch a video (I didn’t do that) not sure if that addresses this? It has potential. ... show more

This is a brilliant game to play with friends that have a good imagination. We have so many laughs playing this game that there were tears in our eyes. Great value and makes your brain work to be a creative as possible. Highly recommend this game for adult game nights.
