So far only used it on Sienna, which also has a bleeder to "burp" the system. Ran the hose back to fixed funnel. Worked great. I will definitely be using this on my other vehicles.

Let me just say that I owned over 30 cars in my life. And I haven't changed radiator fluid on many of them. But recently I needed to change the radiator fluid on a car I hope to keep for years to come and found out that there was a complex bleeding process to get the car fully bled out. When watching how to do it online they suggested I purchase one of these devices. I didn't think it would help the situation too much is it simply looked like a reservoir to hold the fluid. And essentially that is all it is but it was surprising how easy, and problem free it made the process Not to mention how clean. I don't believe there was any mess whatsoever and the bleeding process was simple and quick with it Would recommend highly even for a single-use. Let your friends know you have it and I'm sure they borrow it as well. Charge them five bucks and make your money back after two friends LOL Totally worth every cent ... show more

pretty handy and it works great,,,,,,but just one little detail.....there is no adapter to fit the large threaded resevoirs on mercedes cars. not a big deal, but I work on a lot of euro cars and that would have been nice.

This worked perfectly. One issue that happens when you have air trapped in your overall engine coolant circuit is when those air pockets finally start moving to the radiator cap area you get a big surge in volume until that air pocket “burps” itself out. This is such a simple solution that provides a temporary expansion zone for the extra fluid to expand into, then once air is burped out, the excess fluid drains back into the system. The KISS principle applies here and works great. No more gurgling bubbly noises coming from in cabin heater coils, and obviously much more efficient engine cooling. ... show more

This funnel kit is a life saver and eases the process of burping the air out of the cooling system. I've used funnel kits that are identical too this one for yrs! I have in the past payed 3x as much for them at local auto part stores.. only major advantage of this kit beside the cost, the fact you can see the coolant lvl in the funnel. Compared too the one I use at work.. (I'm a mechanic with 17+ yrs now) there solid yellow. Makes it hard too judge coolant lvl at time.. Just like the adapters in this kit... but I don't have too guess anymore with this funnel kit. They last, very durable, just don't drop it. Especially when it winter time. Normally I will lose a adapter gasket before It breaks from accidentally dropping it. Diffently a tool/funnel kit for a professional or for the average person that like DYI. Another great feature is the plunger. Just incase the air pockets are trouble some too get out. You can always plug it before it spills out and or too save extra coolant. No waste. I already plan on buying another kit from oem here real soon for one at home. Having the lid also helps keep all the adapters and caps together when not in use. ... show more
