So, they look great, but what a pain. First, the other reviews are dead on. The directions are poor, and that is being generous. The directions are full of wording errors, and the terms for the wiring don't seem standard. Ford doesn't help when you can't seem to find wiring diagrams. We have a 2008 F150, and the brown and black from the headlight match the brown and black of the OEM wiring. Take the new yellow wire and match to the remaining white wire with stripe. The other issue is Amazon "helped" by suggesting an LED main bulb (Hi amd low beams) and blinker/turn signal bulb. Well this model came with main bulb, but needed the blinker and parking light bulbs. I tried to change out the main bulb for the new LED. I don't recommend. The main bulb provided is totally different and appears to include a special heat sink. Matter of fact, its rubber sealing shroud was a PAIN to put back on. The first image shows how I had to cut a groove in the plastic to get the hose clamp back on. That's what I get for curiosity. I would order another parking light bulb. The original is too dim in my opinion through the smoked lense, which while my wife and son love it, I don't because it decreases sight distance. I'd do interior black with clear lenses. Last point is to be careful with the hole covers. The manufacturer covered the parking and turn signal bulb holes to avoid dirt and probably moisture. Well, some of the sticker fell into the head and could not be removed. Again, they look cool, and they have some neat features, but what a pain. Ugh, and yes, I would buy them again. ... show more

These are honestly beautiful, if you’re willing to work with them and properly do it then the ending will be worth it. Seal the crap outta them. Do NOT let any hole be uncovered. Only thing I didn’t seal was the back vent. These are obviously mass produced so there’s gonna be errors, seems like it’s probably machine made. Anyway, seems like there’s a glob of glue on all of them, had 3 replaced and the glue drop was on the center in all of them, you can actually see it kinda in the promotional pictures, anyway, I sealed them, coated them in Meguiar's headlight coating spray, to protect from turning yellow. I bought a pair of LEDs which is a must!!!! Im using “FireHawk 2022 New H7 LED Bulbs” from Amazon in these and they work great and are bright!!!! Now onto the moisture, mine fogged up a couple of times in the beginning however it’s been through HEAVY thunderstorms and it seems to have not gotten a single drop of water inside or mist “knock on wood with me” they stopped misting up after the first week of having the silicone on. And gotta say I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Just hope that they never go bad. Had these for I think a month now. — 06/12/32: UPDATE ON THE “ FireHawk 2022 New H7 LED Bulbs” they gave out this month, the oEdRo headlight housing assembly is still working perfectly. Direct fit for the light fixture, but since my model did not have DRLs, I had to add a fuse tap to a switched source (fuse 18 is a good one, room for the tap within the fuse box). You’ll Have to remove some cover panels over the radiator to run the wiring between the two sides and I highly suggest putting the wires inside tubing to protect from rubbing/shorting out). There are multiple rubber grommets in the F150 cab that you can run a wire through to get from the fuse panel to the engine bay. The negative leads were just too short to reach the nearest grounding points so I had to solder extensions and ground terminals on to those as well. If you just want to follow the enclosed directions and just tap into the parking light circuit that will be fine (and much easier) you’ll just have to turn on the parking lights to get the DRLs to illuminate. DRL Light set draws 0.8 Amps total so they shouldn’t overload your parking light fuse if you go that route) For brightness comparison; in the picture it’s next to a platinum F150 with OEM DRLs. They are as bright as the Ford LED DRL bars. I Added an additional bead of silicone around the edges of the lens to keep moisture out. UPDATE; silicone didnt adhere right when I sealed the assembly the first time and I had water get into right side light after a heavy rainstorm. Drilled a very small hole in lowest portion of the bottom of the lens housing to allow it to drain out. It’s been fine since even after weeks of heavy rain. ... show more

These headlights are very fitting with the grille and taillights I have on my truck. However, with the cost of the headlights I figured they would have been sealed better. I received them and the first thing I did was put caulk along the edges to get a proper seal and they still fogged up. I went back through and continued to reseal them. The installation was very easy with splices on the parking lights for the blinker. It would have been easier if I didn’t have to reseal them. They look cool they are bright with a small shadow at the top but I will adjust the headlights to my truck and they should be fine. ... show more

Product works and looks awesome. You'll need some quick splice connections to connect the LED lights to the side park lights. Personally I think anyone who installs ANY aftermarket headlights without first caulking the seam is just asking for trouble. So yes I caulked the headlights, and I'd be surprised if they ever leak. They headlights have been installed for weeks through multiple storms and 4 wheeling sessions and they're doing great. A call out to Oedro as a seller: the drivers side turn signal wasn't working when I installed them, but Oedro responded to me immediately with like 3-4 updates on the status of the replacement which was very much appreciated (i.e. confirmed they received my message via text and email, kept me updated on when it would ship, and sent me the tracking number). Then they sent me a whole new headlight via expedited shipping. Awesome to work with! I was expecting just a new bulb, but getting a whole new headlight was very nice (just in case the connection is the problem instead of the bulb). ... show more

These look fantastic. I was very picky when I was trying to pick a set out and just was not happy with any of them. I found these and decided to push the purchase button. I am glad I did. They make this truck look amazing! Haven't seen any moisture. Only thing I wanna do is find LED for the main bulb. Update: still looking for a compatible LED bulb, I had to do some adjusting to the headlights due to them not seeming very bright, trust me, make sure they are adjusted properly. It can make a heck of a difference. No moisture yet, have been thru a few carwashes and no water to be seen. I have gotten several comments about how nice they look. ... show more

Bought these in Nov 2021. They look great, really upgraded and modernized my 06 F150. A year later they are yellowing and peeling. I’m super disappointed at the durability. The left headlight has also filled up with water once. I sealed them, as recommended from other reviews, when I installed but it still got moisture in it. Look great, but won’t last. Save your money or be sure to seal and sunblock. ... show more

These headlights gave my 2007 f150 a very fresh updated appeal...very simple install 40 minutes or less...the only downfall for me is the projectors that come with them, totally not as bright as i expected but you can upgrade by purchasing higher lumen...the halos are very bright on their own.

    • You need to be able to water proof your connection and splice into the wires.
I disliked having to splice into the wires and that I had to use my old housing for the lights that is brittle. Also, when it arrived the yellow bulb was out of its housing. I realized it after I put it in that pieces of the light came off. You can see them in the light at the bottom.

Super easy install. Read directions carefully on wiring! One wire connects to side marker positive. Had them both installed in 30 minutes and they look great!

Great headlights, not as bright as I’d like them to be but look absolutely amazing. When buying aftermarket light I always seal the gaskets with silicone caulking because they tend to fog up. It’s been a few months since I purchased and they’re crystal clear.
