I love the design of the strap, compared with the one that comes with the Quest 2. It worked great for a while. Unfortunately, after a bit over three months and treating it carefully, avoiding adding too much pressure on it broke. I was not even using it when it happened. I just grabbed the headset to use it (always from the middle band), and it broke in my hand. Was this a bad batch? A design flaw? A poor choice of material? Not enough testing in QA? A combination of all? Maybe it was bad luck; who knows. The idea behind the design is great, and I truly like it. I mean, if it wasn’t for that, it feels comfortable using. I never pushed it because I heard lots of stories like mine after I ordered. I’ve been using the fabric strap that came with the Oculus, and I have to say it is surprisingly good, and even if it looks more durable than the “elite” version, although it doesn't fit as well as the "elite". UPDATE: I contacted Oculus Support, and they offered either a refund or a replacement. As I bought it through Amazon, the refund must be handled by Amazon; but as I like the strap design, I requested a replacement. They emailed me a UPS tag to return the broken strap (so make sure to keep it if you one to go this route and its original box). A few days after, I received confirmation that a new elite strap was sent at no cost, so I want to express thanks to Oculus Support for taking care of this problem. ... show more

    • This is a necessary upgrade for any Oculus user
After using this strap, I will never be able to use the strap that comes with the stock Oculus Quest 2 again! So, so, so much more comfortable and it helps balance the weight of the whole unit on your head. If you're going to play your Oculus for more than a few minutes, you really should pick this up this strap upgrade. You won't regret it. My only complaint is that Facebook gave me that garbage strap with my Quest when I bought it in the first place. This upgraded strap should be what they ship with. Careful with it though. The plastic strap snapped because I mishandled it and now it is wrapped in duct tape. Looks trashy, but who's looking? ... show more

My daughter’s VR strap broke so we bought this one. It was a quick and easy replacement. Took maybe 2 minutes. The fit was perfect and can adjusted quickly with the knob. This VR used to fall off my kid’s head all the time, but this strap seems to be a lot more secure and a more comfortable fit for her. The media could not be loaded. The adjustability is so so much easier than the original straps because of that fastener in the back, it immerses me more into the VR, the black part that goes on your head is this hard flexible rubber that actually really is comfortable. The weight of it is decently heavy but this is actually good because it helps even everything out. The ease of installation isn't to bad, you just simply (carefully) pop off the old regular straps and then pop on the elite straps and there you have it. The performance is amazing, it helps with gorilla tag or any active game by holding the headset better. I would recommend not going to tight as you could mess up the teeth it holds when loosening. This should have came with the quest 2 to begin with. Why it does not I have no idea. This is a must have because the stock one is a giant piece of junk compared to this. Seriously must have.
