I bought four pairs of these readers because of their low cost, and light weight. They feel sturdy enough (although they "creak" a bit when you flex them). Unfortunately, after less than four months, two pairs broke in the exact same way: the hinge plastic cracked. See image.

The glasses look good and feel comfortable. However they arrived with a small scratch on one of the lenses. The scratch is off to the side and doesn't seem to affect visibility but with a drawer full of scratched readers, I was disappointed to start off with a scratch on a brand new pair.
