  • Well built but narrow toe box
Color: Huckleberry Size: 9
These look great and are really well made. Too narrow in the toe box for me however. I have slender feet so I was surprised by this.

  • Quality material+workmanship+fasion but not wide enough
Color: Huckleberry Size: 7 Wide
This is a quality hiking boot that I can tell from the material it's used and the workmanship on the product. Unfortunately, it's still the wide enough for me. The boot design is also very fashion.

  • These boots are lightweight, hot, and don't breathe!
Color: Huckleberry Size: 9
On the plus side, these boots are well-made and very light if you need to pack them. However, the design does not include any fabric vents and therefore the goretex liner makes them extremely hot in the summer. Also, the inner front seam comes right across where my bunion is. The tongue doesn't stay tucked in and despite soft material around one's calf near the ankle, they dig into my leg. After three hikes they are stretching a bit and conforming to my foot, but had the return window not closed I would be returning them. I will use these boots only during the winter months in snow, and hopefully they are waterproof. In cold weather they will fit better (my feet won't swell). These boots are a big disappointment to me. Perhaps others will have a better experience. ... show more

  • Love these things!
Color: Huckleberry Size: 9
Because of the reviews, I ordered these in a 9W... not medium which I would normally get. It was a good decision. The wide is snug... but fits just fine. I love the colors... the blue and pink together. And the fit is great. I have a narrow heal... and this really works for me. I notice that one of the reviews says they are not fully waterproof. I can't comment on that yet. I hope that is not the case for me. Maybe to be on the safe side, when I know I will be in snowy or wet conditions, I will use protective spray on them. They fit nice, are snug, but comfortable and are cute! They don't feel like heavy, heavy clumsy boots... which I really like. They will go nicely with a pair of jeans... over the boot, not into the boot. And seem to have good traction. I have not wore them outside yet. I recommend them... but be sure you buy the WIDE even if you wear a medium. ... show more

  • Tight in the ankles, but stretching (the shoes) will help
Color: Huckleberry Size: 7
I usually have no issues wearing shoes out-of-the-box. In fact, I have a pair of Oboz hiking shoes (low cut) that are extremely comfortable, which is why I wanted to find a pair of Oboz hiking boots that provide more support around the ankles. When I first tried them on, these shoes felt comfortable and not too restricting on my feet. My mistake was not test driving these out on a short walk. I wore these for the first time on a 5-mile, hilly hike. Oh boy, how badly my ankles hurt afterwards! The shoes definitely provide ankle support, but so much that you feel like they're holding onto your ankles for dear life instead of "being there to help" (and I think my ankles are normal size -- have never needed a wide shoe or had any issues with boots or other hiking shoes). After a couple more hikes with these shoes, I was beginning to despair that I hadn't brought a backup pair. In the off-chance that it would help, I decided to stretch out the tops of the boots around the ankle area to see if that would make them more comfortable. I spent about 5-10 minutes using my hands to manipulate/stretch/fold the stiff top of the shoe to try to soften it. Then, I took the boots on a 10-mile hike. So much more comfortable! Luckily, this worked or I would have been trying to figure out how to salvage a dirty pair of expensive hiking boots I only wore a few times. Other than the ankle tightness, I had no issues with comfort and they definitely were waterproof. I hope these end up feeling as comfortable as my other pair of Oboz! ... show more

  • Width
Color: Huckleberry Size: 7.5 Wide
I think (hope) I got the first wide but it still looks like a regular. Still not wide enough. But very sturdy, great quality.

  • Good fit, sturdy, little stiff
Color: Huckleberry Size: 8.5 Wide
I need a wide boot with good traction and these fit the bill! They're a little stiff as they are leather, but they soften up over time.

  • Best walking boot ever!
Color: Huckleberry Size: 11 Wide
I struggle with size (11) they are either too big or way too small. This fit great (for MY feet). Amazingly comfy. If you have a high instep, I suggest a shoe horn. (I keep one in the car too!) Very comfortable!, water proof, I don't go wading, but lots of wet grasses...
