To help some in purchasing the size, I am a female that is 5'4 and 131 pounds and this life vest fits perfect it hangs just a little bit below my waist and isn't so tight that I cannot move around in it. As a matter of fact I was thrown from jetski into the water and this kept me afloat and didn't come up and hit my face I have had some that do that cause they didn't fit correctly.
