This is the BEST floor mopping system ever! If you have the right tool for the job, the job becomes easy. This is definitely the right tool! I actually LIKE mopping my floors now -- a task I used to actually HATE doing. The design of this bucket keeps the clean and dirty water separate. How smart is that?! The mop spinner (it's like a salad spinner) is ingenious too. No more excessive amounts of water sloshing around on your floors from hard-to-squeeze-out mops. You put your mopping solution in the reservoir (I use a little bit of lavender scented Mr. Clean mixed with water-smells lovely). Then you dip the mop in your cleaning solution, give it a quick spin, mop and repeat until done. (To save like ten seconds, while I'm spinning the mop, I let the reservoir fill up.) Before you know it, your floors will be clean! The bucket is also not heavy and is easy to move around on the floor. It's also easy to dump the dirty water out of it into the sink. I REALLY like this mop and bucket. It's the best! Definitely recommend it especially if you hate washing floors! :) ... show more

After reading other reviews I was confident this would work and I was not disappointed. The instructions are okay, but they don't tell you: 1) If you have a spray attachment on the kitchen sink you can leave the whole shebang together as you fill it rather than having to awkwardly move the filled clean chamber into the outer (dirty water) bucket as the instructions direct. 2) Use the hottest water you can; it will cool as you work and likely still be warm as you finish. 3) When you first wet the mop head in the clean chamber, drag it against the sides of the clean chamber to drain it and preserve the clean supply, then spin it in the rinse chamber to achieve the desired wetness for mopping. Other reviewers pointed out that the mop handle could be longer. i am reserving judgment on this as at 51" it worked fine for my 5'8" height. There are also longer handles available; just make sure to buy one with "European" threads which are finer than the big acme threads on your old brooms. As to reviewers who complained about the telescoping handle I suggest twisting with some muscle during setup. If you still have a problem with collapsing then you can either epoxy the handle to keep it in place or use clear packing tape or duct tape to "freeze" the connections. I mopped about 900 square feet on a single bucket load (about 1 1/4 gallons) and the dirty water was equally dirty as when I was using a wide microfiber push-to-wring mop with a 2 gallon clean supply and a 2 gallon separate rinse bucket. This system does a good job of keeping the dirty water separate, the only exception being the minimal residual dirty water in the mop fibers after spin rinsing. For routine cleaning this is a fine system. If you have a horrible mess, get out your scrub brush and bucket! The mop head triangular holder can be made to scrape the floor, but I found a quick hand spin will fling the mop ends out to a near circle, then back to work. I suspect that with practice this issue will be very minor. ... show more

I love the separate compartments for dirty and clean water in this bucket! Very easy to fill and use, and the fresh smell of the O’Cedar cleaner is light and natural. The spin pedal works very well, and the reusable mop head is easy to clean.

My robot floor mop stopped working. I considered purchasing a replacement, but they are so expensive and my previous one never really mopped as well as a person. This mop bucket is a cost-effective replacement. I'm happy with my purchase, although it's not a perfect design. Pros: No need to hand wring the mop Easier to rinse and reset the mop head compared to a swiffer Mop heads are easy to wash and dry quickly Small mop head fits easily into tight spaces Spinning mechanism works well. It's possible to spin the mop nearly dry or leave more water. There is a scrub brush attachment that can be purchased separately that is great for scrubbing floors and tubs/showers without bending. Cons: The mop head is a bit big to fit into the rinse well or spinner. A little more wiggle room would make it easier to use. The plastic head of the mop holder scrapes across the floor at times. I haven't noticed any scratches on the floor, but the sound is grating. In summary, this was a good purchase. I enjoy using this mopping disturb more than the twisting mop types that I had to touch (yuck!) or swiffer type with reusable pads that don't wring out. The floors in my house are much cleaner than they've been in a long time. I am happy with the purchase and the result. ... show more

I love this mop!! It’s so easy to use and the directions for how to work the bucket is very easy to follow. The mop is easy to use. You don’t have to scrub too hard to get your floors clean. I like the spin feature this mop has to offer. It’s not as hard to push as the original O-Ceder spin mop. So far, it seems like it is built to last. I love that it has a locking feature on the handle of the bucket so the mop isn’t falling all over the place. The only thing I have concern with is the size of the handle is a bit short, even with it fully extended. ... show more

I love this version of two different tanks for clean and dirty water. The mop does a great job and i also like that it’s not soaking wet when I try to mop the floor. Only complaint is how hard it is the empty all the water out when I’m done. I’ve only used it once so far.
