    • Works great and it's the right size for a small apartment
This mop & bucket set works great. I was looking at other designs and this one is exactly what I was looking for. It separates the dirty water from the cleaning solution. At first I thought it was small, but it turned out to be the perfect size for a small apartment. I can disassemble the mop handle so everything can be stored away in the bucket. It holds about 1 gallon of cleaning solution which is enough to clean a small apartment without refilling. The drain hole makes it very easy to empty the dirty water reservoir so you can refill with ease. It makes cleaning simple and easy. I read the reviews about the mop handle, but I still bought it to see if it's as bad as they say it is. It feels very sturdy to me. Everything is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. The only gripe I have is that it's mostly made out of plastic. I hope the parts last a long time. It does come with lifetime warranty as per their website... ""Lifetime Warranty: Yes that's right, if your X3 Mop breaks for any reason we will send you a replacement free of charge, for life!"" ... show more

    • THE BEST mop I have EVER used!!!
It works just as it claims!! I have two large dogs and new home construction, so the dirt coming in the house is a daily battle! This works so amazing in that you don’t have to change the pad out six times just to clean one room like I did with my steam mop and swiffer. I also don’t have to do battle with a huge mop head anymore! I see reviews of broken mop handles, but I believe they either did not read all the assembly instructions and warning stickers on the rods and thus broke the plastic tabs, or else they applied too much pressure while mopping. This mop does not need a lot of pressure! The friction on the pad cleans quickly and beautifully without exhausting your hands or back…and I have a bulging disc in my lumbar and fibromyalgia. The mop head is slim enough that it even slid under the front of my stove and cleaned that area beautifully! People complained that only half the mop gets cleaned off in the bucket, but it doesn’t take much to flip the mop head and clean the other side after cleaning the one side. Still WORLDS better than wringing out a mop with your hands or awkwardly fussing with trying to finagle mop gadgets. It’s compact to store under the sink or in a closet and light enough to move around as you go, even with water in it! I’m not sure if I would prefer small wheels on the bottom or not…maybe if they were recessed a bit under the bucket. It’s light enough, though, that it’s not a huge inconvenience for me. You can even add your own cleaning solution. I only hope this mop lasts forever!! 😁😁😁 ... show more

    • Good concept, but.....
This is smaller than you might think, the box it comes in isn't much larger than a shoebox. I wasn't aware that a larger version was available until after I purchased it, but that's ok. It does what it says, though the quality is questionable. Everything seems light duty, probably ok for Joe homeowner but definitely not for any sort of commercial use. Like many other Chinese made items, it seems like it's made just barely adequate enough so you won't return it immediately, but it's not something I'd expect to last more than 5 years. Expensive considering that impression. It works well, but the middle chamber needs topped off with the turn of the knob about every time you dunk the mop. It's a little short without the included "optional" extension handle (unless you're a hobbit), and with it feels really flimsy. The plastic bucket is very thin plastic. The drain plug is cute but not really useful, really just a glorified cork that doesn't screw on or anything. If you're expecting something heavy duty don't bother, but for a couple of rooms it does a decent job. Compact footprint is nice for storage. If you've got more than about 200 square feet to mop I'd consider something else. We have a sheltie and a rough collie, so I vacuum first for pet hair, and the microfiber does a good job of getting anything the vacuum misses. The little "comb" on the mop bucket doesn't really work great, I usually have to clean off the excess manually before dunking the mop head. Not much more fun than dog duty in that respect. Also, the bucket isn't deep enough to submerge the whole pad, so it has to be flipped over and dunked again. Overall a good concept, and it does well keeping used water separated, but there's a lot that could benefit from refinement and beefing up. ... show more

    • I can finally mop with clean water EVERY time!
I’ve been on a search for years for a mop I can like. This one is great! The 3 chamber system works great for always dipping the mop head into fresh water. Watching a video demonstration helps to understand how this works. The unit is lightweight & I wondered if the bucket would lift off the floor as I pull the mop out; happily, this is not the case. The bucket stays on the floor and the “teeth” squeeze the water out of the mop pad very, very well. The bucket is a slim design and stores away nicely. It is easy to empty & rinse out. I like the washable mop pads. I air dry them. It’s nice that you get three. The unit was easy to assemble. The directions were clear and simple. The only thing that will require a little practice until it becomes effortless is attaching the pad to the mop head. The first end you put the pad on goes onto 3 sturdy tabs easily. When you do the same on the other side, it’s a little harder because you are stretching it onto the 3 tabs. Once you get it on, the pad stays on very securely. It will not fall off or be loose. The pad works very well and is worth the extra minute it takes to secure it. I am very happy I chose this mop! I was considering O Cedar spin mop, but like all the other mops out there, it dips into dirty water continually. The X3 mop gives me clean water each time and is a joy to use. Hallelujah!
