I wanted to add ambient light on the tiny kitchen table. The overhead light is adequate but I wanted a cozy lighting option. This lamp is perfect: well-balanced, good weight, classic/traditional style, with a nice brushed chrome finish. The lamp has three light settings casting soft warm light. I use it for a nightlight in the kitchen. The USB-C port is easy for recharging. The battery life is very good. When it starts to get dim, I'll charge it during the day so it's ready to use at dusk. I changed the shade to a chandelier shade I had on hand. The LED bulb that comes with the lamp works with clip-on chandelier shades. I love the option to switch the shades. I highly recommend this rechargeable lamp. This would make a charming hostess gift. Possible uses: on a kitchen island, on an entry table, on a bathroom vanity, on a side table, a pair on a dining room table would be a great option instead of candles. ... show more

I never wrote reviews...but this lamp is just so perfect & pretty! It matches just about any decor style, and I have a couple in different rooms of my house. Perfect for spots that don't have a plug nearby, or spots where a coed would be ugly. The charge lasts forever, and the three light settings are great. The low setting is perfect for midnight wanderings to the bathroom, and the brighter setting is great for tables when you host a party. I had a really hard time finding a cordless lamp in this style. This is exactly what I was looking for. The brightness is perfect for the mantle and the color is a nice classy gold, not cheap looking. It charges quickly and is very easy to use.
