I was worried I wouldn’t be able to breathe in this thing based off some dramatic reviews, but I wish I bought a size small like the size chart suggested (my chest measurement is 34”, B cup and I’m 5’1 & 115lbs, with broad shoulders, 25” waist). I’m returning the medium for a small, which I think will be perfect for me! It was snug, but not enough- I could semi-easily pull the shoulders up by my neck while it was fully zipped and buckled tight & I’m sure in water it would have been worse. It feels and looks like it’s EXTREMELY high quality so I’m 100% pleased with the heftier price I’m paying. The Zebra stripes are so cute and subtle too!! I hope I can wear this thing forever and everrr!! So so fabulous and doesn’t scream obnoxious like other women’s life vests!! Get it!! But GO WITH THE SIZE CHART AND YOUR MEASUREMENTS! ... show more

I bought this life jacket 2 years ago & it's falling apart. All the plastic is disintegrating despite being stored indoors & only being outside when in use. The buckles & zipper have rendered it unusable. For the price my expectation was that it would last a lot longer. I have 10 lifejackets, some 20 years old, in better shape than this thing. Runs small. I measured myself before ordering, to get the proper fit. It states a chest up to 40” would be a medium size. The Med was too tight. I’m shipping the Medium back. When I ordered, I bought a Med and a Lg. Still waiting on the large to arrive. Hope that size works. I’d say if your chest measurement is 36” or less, the Medium would fit. I've used this life jacket on a couple of occasions so far and love it. It is a bit bulkier than a competition vest, but still slimer than most life vests. The straps are thick and hold well.
