  • Clean motherboard finish

This motherboard looks amazing in my case. It has great functionality as well for the price. Bluetooth works great with my devices and Xbox controller. WiFi is fast and reliable. It’s great that it has a usb type c port. Was worried about the ram I purchased not being compatible due to NZXT QVL list not having them on it. However I’ve had absolutely no issues. I picked up 2x16gb 6000mhz with a latency of 30 teamgroup T-force DDR5 memory sticks. ... show more

  • Bricked after less than a week
Style: Black
Over the years of building my own systems and occasionally checking out new products I ended up trying this, what a mistake. The bios is basic, objectively archaic, and quite slow to boot. Still wanted to give it a try and loaded up all my programs/games. Ran decently on most things but on a not-so demanding game it stuttered every time there was any inkling of demand. Ran some testing and got some fairly inconclusive results as to what the issue was, so I planned to swap out ram, gpu, etc… one at a time and see if any improvements. None. The same result every time until I replaced all original parts and tried restarting. Nothing. No flicker of life. Checked seating, connections, inputs…nothing was out of order. It will not turn on. Threw in a spare motherboard that I had on hand, started up beautifully and without hesitation. Started the same game that I had tried on the NZXT and there were no performance issues. Looks like NZXT is off my list of products to try or buy. ... show more

  • One of the cleanest motherboards I have ever seen!
Style: White
I recently built a new all white PC and this motherboard was the finishing touch I was looking for. There are obviously plenty of white motherboards but this one is different. The NZXT B650E is a little bit more money than other similar boards but it looks so much better. I love that it comes with the shields to cover up the majority of the board. It really does make a huge difference compared to other boards that I have used before. The features are great as well. It has all the RGB headers I needed to connect the hub for my Lian Li Streamers as well as 10 RGB fans. It does come with Wi-Fi 6 as well. For anyone looking to do an all white setup, this motherboard really is your best option for the aesthetic appearance and it is has great features to go along with it. ... show more

  • Robust VRM, quality sound, Wi-Fi, perfect aesthetics. Took some troubleshooting.
Style: Black
Pros: - 16+2+1 90A SPS VRM. Overkill even for a 16 core Ryzen. - Robust and durable PCB. - Robust NVMe slot #1 heatsink. - PCIe 5.0 GPU slot. - Surround sound connectivity and TOSLINK out. - Boots quick. - Wi-Fi works great with included antennas. Cons: - Took some troubleshooting to arrive at optimal BIOS version for consistent performance. BIOS releases are also behind the comparable AsRock release roadmap (at least at the date this review is written) if you care about having the absolute latest BIOS. Still runs fine on v3.06. - No ECLK generator. Not really applicable to this price point anyways. - No temp sensor jumpers. Had to buy an Aquacomputer Octo to control fans with. - Wish NVMe slots 2&3 had functional heat spreaders with thermal pads. On this board they are just composite covers. The overall features and aesthetics of this board for $250 seemed like a great value to support a 9800X3D. Cross shopped with the Strix X670E-F which does have ECLK but was not a fan of the gamer aesthetics on that one. I was not let down by the N7 B650E in the end. Upon purchasing I immediately flashed the BIOS to 3.08 and had numerous issues getting the board to POST consistently. Flashing to 3.06 fixed my issue. The AsRock-style BIOS is easy to navigate and use. The diagnostic lights and built-in power/reset buttons were a huge help when putting this board through its paces on the test bench. Kind of wish they were on the side though (looks like NZXT is fixing that with their upcoming X870E). Paired with my all-black Mushkin 6400 C30 64GB kit the combo looks awesome and I was able to hit 6200 C28 @1.43V stable. I’m running a 9800X3D and a 7900 XTX Aqua. The CPU will do all core -50 on curve optimizer and hits an R23 score of ~24400. Overall very pleased with this board’s performance and stability. ... show more

This motherboard goes perfect with my nzxt h5 elite case. It’s absolutely stunning. 3 m.2 slots for maximum storage potential. Plenty of hookups on the board for any accessories like fans, hdds, etc. etc. I absolutely love the look and aesthetic of it. Would definitely recommend!!

  • A+ know what you're getting first
Style: White
I know there were some reviews that tried to downplay this board and state that it was over price but there is some aspects that people need to really consider. First this is a strong motherboard option for the simple fact that you have upwards of a u s b options. Most boards that are in the 650V range come with 6 to 7. There is also three additional NVME ports aside from the single 5.0x. The board doesn't need "heatsinks" because the frame of the design is the cooling mechanism, the covers are also magnetic making removal very easy and protects the panels. Supports wifi and BT. It's prices exactly the same as is competition 650E boards from the OEM Taichi. It supports expo and pcie 5.0. Locking USB C port also. Fired up my 32 FURY sticks @ 6000, no problem, no heat issues with 7 series CPU either. I'm really unsure how anybody can snub this board below 4 stars. Are their cheaper options? Yes, what about from AsRock, yes.... because most other 650's in range aren't extreme, have less I/O options like USB ports and riddles with issues. I've yet to see a single complaint eliminate this board from being purchased. Hence why I own it. I don't think the often compared B650A -F or E -F from Asus blows it out the water...because you get less features, and the other boards aren't nearly as good looking. Your paying for a name and not features. Lastly, did I mention the leg-up on NZXT's CAM software compatibility since I own a Kraken? ... show more
