I was looking for a 2 way 6x9 to run in the rear deck on an E36 M3 and for the price I could not be more happy these NVX units. I desoldered the tweeter from the woofer connection so I could wire up the 2 way similar to factory and connect it to the stock 4 pin connector. They provide a solid low end and does well with the mids with the factory eq’d amp. The tweeters sound pretty good. Now these are running with a flat eq from a head unit into the factory alpine amp, but I’m still impressed by the sound quality from the rear of the car. When I redo the front speakers, headunit, amp, and 10 sealed sub, I was going to change back to a custom mid bass/ tweeter in the factory boxes, but now I might leave these rear 6x9s in and see how they keep up with the new setup. Just installed today in a 2007 Honda Civic. Replaced 11 year old Polk DB series speakers that had a blown woofer. NVX woofer housing is a bit deep so I had to modify my existing adapters to accommodate. Haven't pushed the woofers yet as I'm giving them time to break in. Tweeters are too deep. I couldn't mount them under the stock grills so I had to cut the grills and inset the tweeters within the grills, and they still don't have enough room for the speaker lip to sit flush with the grill surface. Not ideal, and I was a bit pissed about it. Surface mount is not an option as they would look absolutely ridiculous. However, they sound great so far, so I'm pleased. These speaker only lasted 1 month after the glue broke and I can’t return it. NVX will charge you for the shipping and any repairs. Don’t waste your money, look else where.

Installed them in 2024 F350 with adapter plates. They sound great running them on a NVX XAD42. Thye are worth the money if you have the room to install them.

I did my research on these speakers, and they do not disappoint. I’ve had them in my car for quite a while now and the quality in the sound coming out of them is perfect. I added a 10 inch subwoofer and the sound is great.

The media could not be loaded. I have had these speakers for 7 months now, first 4 months they were great. I never turned them up really loud, I can’t see if I have loud music. After 7 months, 1 speaker is now very scratching as if a voice coil is going out. Not happy with that. I have the speaker plugged into factory connections, all factory stereo. Disappointed with the quality of the internals, exterior of them feel fantastic. I would like another pair but I need a freebie this time lol. ... show more
