Every so often I like to take a break from my supplements to see how my body reacts. The most notable effect this has is the pain in my hands and shoulder come back. This is after about a week or so of stopping everything. I don't believe anything else I take targets the pain so it has to be from this ALA. Having said that, I trust that this product does what it is suppressed to do. I did research other brands especially ones that require less doses but I don't like swallowing big pills and the size of these are on the smaller size so I don't mind taking more.
