My cat has been limping for a while probably because of her age. I had high hopes for this product because of the reviews I read. I put a little on my finger and she immediately came to me because she thought I had some food. When her nose got near, she ran the other way and was literally hiding from me. I went inside and got some cooked hamburger meat to mix with it. She still didn’t want anything to do with it. I’ll try mixing it with tuna to see if that works. Our cat loves the taste of Nutri Vet Hip & Joint Paw Gel. She is 17 years old and has arthritis. She uses pet stairs to get on and off the sofa. I started giving her the recommended dosage last week and there is such an improvement. She is more active. I was amazed yesterday when she actually came upstairs; something she has not been able to do in a year. She was even able to go back down the stairs. My cat refused to eat it, he just walked around with a blob of it on his paw all day until I finally washed it off. He wouldn’t eat it mixed in with his wet food.

At first, my cats didn't know what to think of it - I have 2 older cats with joint issues. You put 1/4 tsp. on your finger, then rub it up and down their paw (or on the side of their coat). They end up licking it right off - mostly, because they have to, since cats by nature are very clean. For maximum effectiveness, use twice per day. My cats have been on it for 2 months now, and I do notice less joint stiffness. My one cat even jumps on the bed at night to sleep with me - he had trouble getting onto the bed before. This stuff has some awesome ingredients & it is extra strength - they do not seem to mind the flavor (salmon). Made in the U.S.A. I keep one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen - will definately re-order !!! ... show more
