  • Great, simple climber cars for 4 to 8 years
Color: Pink
The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 for my nieces. Pink and purple. These are great remote cars for girls, they are beautiful, cheap and sturdy. They are not fast but i consider this a good thing as they are not going to crash them much in the first month. These are more "climber" type than "speeding", so they have front and rear motors that allow them to climb 30 to 40 degrees slopes. Besides that, the smoke thing, which is a water mist sprayer are a nice touch, beware of water getting spilled on the rear motor. The remote control is easy for kids and has the same color of the car. We put some necklaces so they hang the remote controls by the neck. ... show more

  • My Grandson Loved It
Color: Green
Well made real 4x4, battery life is very good and two batteries included so when the first runs out just install the second. Though at his fourth birthday today this car was played with many kids throughout the day (outside) on just one battery.

  • Fun remote
Color: Red
Easy to use remote for younger youth. Seems to be strong enough to go over many surfaces. A bit of a challenge to charge and change batteries.

  • Great but you need to understand some things first before purchase...
Color: Green
This is a beginners rock crawler...if you don't know what that is google it. It's too slow to do (crash and bash) jumps, yet not slow enough to really rock crawl intricate lines. ALSO it only has one speed. BUT the angles this can climb is crazy! It will climb a 90 degree angle, and go over a curb like it's flat. The torque tho..well it sucks pretty bad and the tires are not very soft. so traction is a issue also. Plus the steering will not return back to a straight line on its own. Also the angle it turns at is pretty bad also, its mayybe a 22 degree angle. WITH ALL THAT SAID....I own MULTIPLE $300+ RC cars. so I'm comparing apples to oranges. This is a awesome beginner's rock crawler. A young kid could probably understand it and learn to crawl or ride trails in no time. (My 8 year old kid did). It also seems pretty durable, because it's taken some falls and nothing broke yet, even tho its 99% plastic. At the $25 I paid, it is worth every penny. ... show more

  • Bought 2, only 1 worked, 0 customer service
Color: Cyan
If there is a problem when you buy this, your only recourse is hope that the seller makes it right because you get no service from Amazon. I did email the seller that one of the 2 cars I purchased wouldn't start at all, and they did nothing for me. Avoid this seller.

  • Nice but Questionable Batteries!
Color: Green
My 4 year old is loving this RC Monster Truck (when it works)! And he has yet to break anything on it since receiving it for Christmas. That is saying a lot as my little guy seems to be good at accidentally finding ways to break toys (I keep saying I need to vest in super glue). I like that it seems rugged. It can start to climb a vertical surface and sometimes do a cool roll over and land back on it's wheels. It seems to have a good suspension that I suspect also reduces the risk of broken plastic. The drawback and reason for three stars is the batteries. Every time we turn around, the provided battery located in the actual monster truck is dead after what feels like less than 1 hour of intermittent use. The truck comes with two batteries that charge via USB ports (thank you for a backup battery!). The instructions state the USB charger lights up red when battery is charging and then turns green when complete (2-3 hours). We followed the directions to let the motor cool before charging. We've charged both batteries 3-4 hours (at least twice each) and we have yet to see any green light. The light on the USB charger starts out as a bright red light and then quickly turns to a dim red light and stays that way until we eventually decide to unplug it. I'm not sure if this means the batteries are not receiving a full charge? The other thing I noticed is the red indicator light on the remote controller is sometimes solid and other times it blinks. The box did not include any paper instructions and I didn't see an explanation for this on the box itself. There is no consistency for when it blinks (eg we've seen both blinking and solid when trigger is in use). And the batteries we installed into the remote controller were brand new Duracell batteries. I suppose there is always the possibility we could be dealing with a faulty remote controller aside from the battery green light charging issue. I have experienced a few instances where we thought the Monster Truck was dead and then after turning the remote off/on and pulling the trigger a few times, the Truck starting going again. It really is a neat RC Monster Truck and it it weren't for the battery/questionable remote, I would not hesitate to buy another or give it as a gift! Maybe if the manufacturer reads these reviews, they can offer some feedback on what to do! ... show more

  • Vendor came through!
Color: Red
UPDATE: After the first unit failed to run at all, the vendor came through and replaced it with an RC unit that works great. With that kind of support, I've updated to a 5 star review. ... We've owned about 20+ RC cars, trucks, boats and planes over the years, so I'm no newbie when it comes to this technology. This truck looked promising, but it was DOA out of the box. No light-up on the remote, no power to the truck. 'Confirmed fresh and fully-charged batteries multiple times, and no go, at all. I reached out to the vendor to see if they could come up with a solution or advice, and their response was that they wanted me to send them "a video of the truck not working." I kid you not! Should I send them a still photo of the truck (not moving?)?? It looks like this will have to be returned. ... show more
