    • Rope breaks fast
I had been using Aramis soap on a rope for like 50 years starting when my mom worked for Estee. It was great, lasted a month and smelled nice. If you can find any now they want $50 a bar which is nuts. So I've been trying to find a replacement. I bought this because of its novelty appeal. The rope is too short a the loop isn't large enough to get my whole hand through. This isn't the biggest problem. Unlike almost all soaps on a rope, the rope is not threaded through the middle of the soap, but is attached by a thin soap strand. The strand can't handle the weight though and broke on my second shower. So no rope for the soap. ... show more
