We ordered this and it ended up being lost at ups facility and then finally delivered 2 days later. When it arrived I noticed the piece was bent which didn’t allow to bottom piece to slide in like it’s supposed to do we had to hammer it back for the pole to go in. No squeaking. I think you just have to make sure the bolts and screws are tight. Size is perfect. It doesn’t take up to much space. Our bed is 14” tall so it’s taller than a normal mattress if yours is smaller the head rail and foot rail will be taller. Overall we like the look of it ... show more

I SERIOUSLY DON'T recommend putting this together ALONE. I'm 75 and in a wheelchair. I put it together ALONE. Took a full day, and WOW, I wouldn't do it again. BUT, the bed is wonderful, beautiful, sturdy, and came with extra screws and washers. Very thoughtful of the company. No noise rolling over. If you can follow instructions,,you can put this together. It's very nice. I'm glad I got this. UPDATE.... THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BED, ....BUT, I am giving it away because I cannot put the fitted sheets on it. I mentioned already I am an older person, with serious arthritis. There isn't enough room between the end of the mattress and the footboard to fit my hand between it. I cannot lift the mattress because of the weight. And the comforter won't fit either because it's so snug a fit . I've ordered a platform and a headboard only. The bed is beautiful, but I can't make it work for me. Just something to consider. ... show more

I love this bed, it is not heavy at all, and very sturdy. My husband and I are not small people there is No squeaking of any kind. It is solid. I highly recommend to anyone who is on a budget Bed is perfect! My husband and I put it together in about an hour and I would suggest to people put it together. It makes it a lot easier. So when u put this bed together it is very easy. But you definitely need 2 people to do it. I got a king soo it was pretty big which was great, but I am a very short person soo I had to have help. The color was great it was the grey I was looking for. It also came with different leg heights which was nice depending on how tall you want your bed to be. The only down fall I would say about this bed would be the noisy it makes when u move around at night. every time I moved it would squeak. ... show more

I was not looking forward to putting together another piece of furniture. I was surprised at how easy this was. It was also impressed by the little items to keep the slats secure. Seems like they would stay in place without them, but I certainly appreciate the added security. I got a twin day bed with a trundle. I like that the side can be taken off to convert it into a regular bed. I don't understand the complaints of it being low to the ground or it having a gap at the head and foot boards. Ok so honest review here. I chose this bed because of its price range. It was the cheapest king bed frame that was within my budget, and it’s decent enough looking. The bed arrived in perfect shape and on time. Assembly was a pain. It took my husband and I almost 3 hours to put together. The bed is extremely lightweight and I question it’s sturdiness. I’ve only had it for less than a week now, and nothing has broken yet, but it just feels cheap and unsturdy. The bed makes creaking noises when rolling over at night. The description states that a box spring is not needed, and that is true, however the bed sits very low. If you’re not a fan of low sitting beds than I definitely recommend you skip this bed or add a box spring. After sleeping on this bed for a few nights, I caved and purchased a box spring to add to it. It sits that low. The box spring helped tremendously with the height issue. Overall, I would rate the bed ok. If it’s what you can afford it definitely will work, however don’t expect this bed to last a long time. The price reflects the quality. For $200 I expect to get maybe a year or two out of it if I’m lucky. Adult activities are definitely a no no on this bed. It’s just not sturdy enough. It’ll do for now as I needed a king size bed frame for an affordable price, but I foresee myself needing to replace it in the future. ... show more
