It blends very well with modern decor. The massage function is comprehensive and with just the right amount of pressure. Pros: If you're looking for a massage chair that doesn't look out of place, this's one of the best choices out there. The overall quality is solid; extremely easy to assemble and use. When the massage function is not in use; it can be used as a regular chair so long as you have a small pillow to cover up the pressure rollers. Cons: The video somehow illustrates the color of the chair to be lighter overall which I would've preferred. Instead, it's darker in reality. ****Nov 8, 2022*** I had an issue with a part that broke while using the chair. I reached out to the manufacturer and they promptly sent me a replacement part. I couldn't have been more impressed with Nouhaus' customer service response time and professionalism. ****May 23, 2020*** After an exhaustive search for the perfect massage chair, I found it. I was worried that something so beautiful couldn't possibly provide the pressure I was looking for, I stand corrected. This was a great purchase post COVID-19. I can't imagine any massage places being open anytime soon. A word of caution on your first day with the chair: pace yourself! Yes, you're going to want to spend every waking moment in the chair as soon as you put it together. I woke up with delicious soreness that I only thought was possible after a deep tissue massage with a human masseuse. Visually, it looks like it was stolen from bridge of the Enterprise, which I have no problem with. PROS — You can't beat that price Pleasing to look at Powerful and surprisingly firm massage Compact design Adjustable height of neck rollers built in remote heated seat feature easy to assemble very sturdy It's under 1k Zippers surrounding the fabric bits (assuming to remove for cleaning and or repair) CONS — Does not recline (I knew this before purchasing) Doesn't come in black (I settled for the classic brown) When off, you'll need a lumbar pillow to use it as a regular reading chair — the mechanics kind of poke into your lower back when not in use I didn't buy this sooner TLDR: Compact, affordable and impressive massage chair that is pleasing to the eye. ... show more

This product looks great! I really love the Way it feels. This thing will give you a serious massage. Over all, I think it is very sturdy and it will last the test of time . I ordered the Brown one, and the color is true to the picture on line. It is not comfortable to sit on when you are not using the massage function. We have worked around that by adding a pillow to the back. Also, this is probably better suited for small framed people. I weigh 220 pounds and I am 5' 9 and I feel like I am probably the largest that this chair should really withstand. Not to say the chair couldn't handle someone larger, it probably could because it is very sturdy. However the hip width isn't very wide, so I find it almost painful to use the bottom function because of how hard it squeezes,! I do wish that it had a recline function, but for what I paid for it I'm willing to get over that. ... show more

I bought this for use as an office chair. It’s heated, which is fantastic in the winter. It’s wide enough that you can fold your legs on the chair. The bum massager is an airbag that inflated and squeezes your hips. This is weird at first, but if you’re at your computer all day, it really gets rid of the muscle tension in your hips. Let’s talk about the shiatsu massage! OMG! It’s heaven! It has a separate set for your neck and back. The neck massage is worth it alone. It really gets in there and massages your tensions away. I put my phone on mute and turn on the neck massager during conferences. When you’re done, there’s a nice pillow to cover up the massagers. The back massagers are great. My one complaint is that they don’t fully retract, so I use the neck pillow as a lumbar pillow to cover them up when I’m working. The style of the chair can’t be beat. Most massage chairs look like an exoskeleton. This looks straight out of Design Within Reach. I bought the yellow color and it’s beautiful. Happy massaging! ... show more

The chair came quickly. It was easy to assemble, however the screwholes are not aligned so I could only affix two of the four screws so it isn't stable. The stool was also not aligned and I could only put two of the four screws in that too. The massage is good but only one type (deep tissue kneeling) and there is no controlling the pressure (hard). For what I have, I could have done better investing in a good removable massage pad for my office chair. But it does look nice in my living room and I do use it several times a week so I not mad, but Iif I wasn't scared of the trouble returning it, I would have sent it back. The massage part of this chair..is super effective. It looks aesthetically great in the loving room compared to other massage chairs in the market..but chair is not that comfortable to just sit and relax. The is not enough cushioning to sit and lean.
