I haven't tried this "hearing aid " yet. These are my preliminary observations. The product description on Amazon starts with "not an amplifier- a real hearing aid. " But the operating manual calls it an amplifier. And the only control button is for volume, which sounds a lot like an amplifier. I dont need hearing aids. Yet. But my husband has hearing aids with bluetooth so the tv sound can be turned down for him to the point that I am struggling to hear. But when I put the left aid in on the lowest volume, I do much better without the tv volume having to be turned up. These were the cheapest I could find that claimed they werent just amplifiers. I have nerve damage in my right hand, so in the ear type were too hard to work with and adjust volume. These are easy for adjusting but I still have trouble finding the sweet spot where I am not hearng my hair rustle. Well, they say you have to need them to pit up with them. ... show more

I was impressed about the size of the devices. However, they are so small that my Essential Tremor would not allow me to handle or use them properly. This is a problem I have not faced before, but was real enough that I had to return them, since they were useless for me. If you have Essential Tremor, you know it gets worse with time. These said not sound amplifers, real hearing aids. When I opened the box the manual said right on the front, sound amplifiers . I returned the whole thing after taking a picture of the manual cover. The charging cord never opened. Everything new as I received it. Everything still in the box sent in. I Returned via Kohls amazon return desk. . Haven’t gotten a refund been 6 days.
