  • NORVELL RECOMMENDATION: 1 hour for Light Bronze, 2 hours for Medium Bronze, 3 hours or more for Darkest Bronze. Although the instant, cosmetic bronzers wash away during the warm water rinse, sunless color continues to develop over the next 24 hours following the application, with results lasting 5-7 days. This product is designed for use in all airbrush/HVLP systems regardless of manufacturer.
  • PROFESSIONAL TIP: The DHA will begin to activate within 2-4 hours after application. Do not bathe, shower or sweat for at least 8-hours after application. Avoid chlorinated pools for 18-hours. Brown cosmetic bronzers will wash away during first shower. Full DHA results develop within 18-24 hours. Results should last 5-7 days. The use of nose filters, eye shields, protective under garments and lip balm are recommended before applying sunless spray to body.

I am very light skinned, freckles and you can see my veins all over my body. This solution is great! The picture 1 hour in. I used to spray clients but now just do it at home, Norvell is always the best!

I had owned a spa and salon and have tried many spray tan lotions for airbrush tanning, and finally made Norvell my exclusive brand. It is a predictable, natural and beautiful color and results. The one hour lotion is great for when you or your clients need a tan and quick! you can rinse (not full shower with soap) in as soon as one hour post spray. It also does not have that funky 'smell' that sometimes accompanies spray tans later in the day on your skin, huge plus!! I have found that I use this even more often than the 8 hour (or overnight) set time lotion, usually because I get so busy and forget to get my tan on! It is a wonderful product. The only con (and to be expected, so not even really a con) is that the one hour lotion does not last as long as the regular spray, less than a week usually, then it's time to exfoliate off and start again. You do not need to go heavy and when you rinse it off, like the usual tanner, it's rinsing the cosmetic bronzers, you will continue to tan throughout the day and still look the darkest the next day...great stuff! ... show more

So far this product it great. I do not use it in a sprayer, I bought a cheap foam tanner bottle, emptied it and then put the Norvell in the foam bottle. I put a couple pumps on a tanning mitt and rub it over my body. To apply to my face and neck I put a little bit on a foundation brush and smooth it on in a circular motion. The day I got it I was sick and running a fever and I probably stayed in the hot water way longer than directed but it didn't seem to affect the color. I only left it on for 1 hour 15 min. Its two days later and I have applied a second coat, I will follow directions and only rinse off in hot water for 1 min. I will update on how well this wears, in a week. So far I love the product and it smells great. ... show more
