Made of formed aluminum, it spans two burners with ease. Because the back side is uncoated, this griddle transitions with ease to camp stoves, grills, RVs, and even campfires to cook up delicious fare. Sized to accommodate anything you dream up, from pancakes and eggs to French toast and bacon, grilled cheese sandwiches, even searing chicken or steaks. Nonstick helps with simple clean- up. Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or sharp cooking utensils as they will scratch the nonstick surface. Made in USA. Use and Care: 1. Before first use and after each subsequent use, hand wash pan thoroughly. 2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating. 3. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective cooking properties and prevent damage to the pan and stove. Glasstop stoves are especially susceptible to damage from an overheated pan. 4. Always use adequate ventilation when cooking. 5. While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve cooking performance and taste of food. 6. Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or sharp cooking utensils; they will scratch the nonstick.

This griddle is amazing when brand new but after using for a while it diminished a bit. Upon reading the finer print you're not supposed to use butter, cooking sprays or even really olive, canola or vegetable oil on it! It does best with higher temp oils such as avocado oil. Cooking spray and butter tend to gum it up making the surface difficult to clean. This is a great griddle but I thought the coating would be more bullet proof at this price point. To properly maintain and clean after extended use requires light abrasion while being very careful not to overdue and scratch. In the end mine has scratches and still works well but it's not nearly as elegant as it was on day one. You can probably get something comparable for a lot less. ... show more

I love it, just be careful of the handles, they get extremely hot. Its natural to grab them because the griddle does move. I have already burned a hand. Other than that, I do like it. Its nice and big, plenty of room and it heats up perfectly.

I really like this Nordic Ware Griddle made in the USA. I purchased it back in January of this year, and it's still holding up very well in general, including the non-stick coating. The heat distribution is fairly good given the griddle has to sit on one (electric) element which is larger than the other. Overall very pleased. I order this because i broke my old comal, its super sturdy and heats up nice and evenly grate for making tortillas … i with the handles wouldn’t get hot ive burn my self twice. Also its more like a griddle than a comal IYKYK

I have this as part of camp kitchen. I only use it on my propane stove so I can't attest to open fire. All my food has cooked evenly with no sticking. I have not had any warping on the pan but I am careful to pre heat slowly. Fits my coleman camp stove perfectly.
