This is a great pan. It's made out of cast aluminum and is surprisingly heavy but very easy to use. Our muffins turned out great and popped right out, and the pan is very easy to clean. It's oven safe up to 400 degrees. You do have to be careful not to scratch the nonstick surface.

My 1st attempt was pizza skulls which turned out good. I have used them to make brownies. I have an idea to make breakfast skull bites in the future. The quality of the pan is fantastic. It's easy to clean. It doesn't get food stuck onto it. I still spray with Pam but it's very easy to clean. I love it and it makes simple dishes more fun because of the skull shape. It's Nordic Ware so I knew it would be good quality and I was not wrong. I used it to make cornbread skulls for my chili bar I did for game night. It was during October so I went with the spooky theme. Since then I have used it for brownie skulls, cake skulls, cookie skulls, I even made hollow chocolate skulls since valentines is coming up and I am putting gummy worms in them and sealing them shut. This is truly an all purpose pan that I have used for just about everything. I even used them to make skull ice cubes for a party tray that I needed to keep cold.     • My favorite baking tin for muffins
I've had one of these for a few years and when I saw them on sale I immediately grabbed a second. I am famous for my year-round skeleton muffins. These tins are heavy and produce fabulous muffins. I recommend spraying the tin cavities well with Bakers Joy and then filling them 2/3 full with your favorite recipe. I bake mine at 350 even though they are a dark pan. this creates a slightly crisp golden brown layer along the bottom where the face is. Cook them just until a toothpick comes out clean. Then let them cool a bit before you remove them from the pan(s) for best results. They also make amazing mini calzones. Note, you do need to hand wash them. ... show more
