Description

This original Bundt pan is our very first bundt pan design from the 50's. The full size 12 cup Bundt pan is made from cast aluminum that heats evenly for perfect cake texture and color. Our sturdy cast aluminum provides superior baking performance. The pan is non-stick coated for easy release and clean-up. Bakes elegant, picture-perfect cakes with ease in a shape loved by millions. The pan can be used for many Bundt recipes, pull-a-part bread, monkey bread as well as being a great jello mold. Use with a bakers non-stick spray (flour- based) to help release easily. We recommend that the pan be hand washed to help extend the life of the non-stick coating..

The first time I used this Nordic Ware Pro Cast Bundt pan I made a cream cheese pound cake. I sprayed a liberal amount of baking spray inside the pan, and used a silicone pastry brush to make sure all the crevices were coated. I put the pan in the refrigerator while I mixed up the batter. I read somewhere that would help reduce crowning, giving a flatter surface when the cake is turned out of the pan. I spooned about half the prepared batter into the pan and gently tapped against a folded kitchen towel spread on the counter to release bubbles. I tapped again once all the batter was in the pan. 10 minutes after the cake came out of the oven I turned the pan over and the cake slid right out. No sticking at all. Clean up was so very easy - not much more than rinsing and wiping. This is a substantial pan that is not going to tweak out of shape. I also purchased the Bundt pan cleaning tool, but I haven't needed to use it. If cared for properly I can see this pan lasting many, many years. Nordic Ware bundt pans are the best! I've used one to make southern pound cakes for thirty years! Now that I have double ovens I thought it was time to buy another and make two cakes at a time. The quality of these pans is superb! Take it from a 63 year old Southern Cook....this is the cake pan for you! Care to bundt? This bundt pan’s shape is perfect. I prepped the pan with PAM butter spray and dusted some cocoa powder on the top portion of the pan, then filled it with my marbled batter. Once it was baked, I allowed it to cool on a wire rack before flipping it over. This was my first time baking a bundt cake & it was a pleasant experience when the pan released my bundt cake with ease. The pan is easy to clean. I washed it by hand with a normal sponge and Dawn dish soap...even if I was in a rush, I wouldn’t risk putting this through the dishwasher. The peeling/scratches I noticed - after using it just once - are on the outside of the pan, which is why I knocked a star off. Other than that, I’m really happy with the results. ... show more

Well made, sturdy and even cooking! I had to replace my go-to pan, and this is the perfect replacement. Even cooking, smooth and easy release and I don’t know if it’s me, but cook time seems to be lessened. This was my first bundt cake pan and will probably never need to buy another pan in my lifetime. It is heavy and durable. I made a rum cake with pecans and was worried about it sticking. The cake came right out without any prying and the pan was easy to clean.

My wife has made a few bundt cakes using this heavy duty bundt pan. She does grease and coat with chocolate powder, if making chocolate bundt cakes, and the finished cakes come easily out of the pan. Smart purchase, for no more sticking!
