We bought a pair of these pans which we then protected with a pair of Amazon-brand silcon baking mats (highly recommended; they fit the Nordicware pans perfectly). Done this way, you won't be burning on or discoloring your nice pans, and you will make them SUPER easy to clean. These are a nice weight--not commercial, but very good for home use--and well crafted. Even without the mats, these are great pans and if you know and understand the properties of aluminum, then you will know to treat them with care and clean them with products rated for aluminum. Caution: The internal wire/rod under the rim is steel and holds heat much longer than the aluminum, so be careful moving these around after the rest of the pan is cool to the touch. ... show more

These are heavy duty pans that don't warp when you put them in the oven. They are great for making sheet pan meals or for making a batch of pigs in a blanket, cookies, etc. They got totally discolored in the dishwasher tho with swirly dark stains. I do a lot of cookies over the holidays and I struggle every year with burning and uneven baking, even with my good quality pans. I tried lady locks for the first time and needed my small jelly roll pan to finish the last batch. It was Nordic Wear. I couldn’t believe the comparison with that last batch to all the rest. They were evenly golden with absolutely no burning on the bottom. In fact I did all of my cutout cookies on my one small Nordic wear pan, it was that big of a difference. I paid $31.43 with the 10% coupon. That's nearly double what you'd pay for a cheap set of non-stick pans at a big box store. But I wanted high quality pans that would last, and I wanted to avoid "non-stick" pans with chemical coatings that will deteriorate and leech into the food over time. As soon as I saw that the Nordic Ware Baker's Delight 3 Piece Set was Made in USA, I was sold. The pans are thick, heavier than you might expect from aluminum, and very high quality. I immediately washed them and put them to use. Right away I noticed they cooked evenly, and clean up easily.
