Update: I bought a new replacement. Some observations: * The volume up and down buttons have been flipped. The new placement is perhaps more sensible - the volume up button is above the volume down button. * New voice * It properly gives a low battery warning again instead of just dying midway through use. It might still power off before I notice if I haven't been using it, but that's expected. * I haven't noticed it locking up on me as of yet. It's been a few months, so I think that issue isn't a concern. * Minor annoyance, but not new - there's also a bit of a delay between when there is new audio to play and it starts playing. Probably related to either some low energy mode, or the support for being connected to 2 audio sources. Also, the volume seems to reset when switching between computers providing audio. * The charging port uses micro-usb (not type-c). Finding the right spot and orientation to plug it in is annoying - if you have/will get one, do yourself a favor and get one of the magnetic charging cables. That way all you need to do is get the cable close to the port and it'll snap to it. Followup on prior review: Support has been very helpful; they offered another replacement, but after the same problem again, offered a refund. I was quite happy with my first pair of headphones, so I do plan on getting another pair again. Prior review: I had one previously that I quite liked, but after about 2 years one of the earpieces broke off at the rotating bit. I ordered a replacement; the replacement would stop responding every so often though (perhaps on the order of once a day - sometimes a few times a day, and sometimes it might last over a day till it happens). Basically, none of the buttons would do anything, and no audio would play over bluetooth. Only way to unfreeze it (aside from the battery running out) would be to plug in and unplug an audio cable into the audio jack, at which point it could be powered on again. Also rather annoying - the battery alert doesn't work - it'd simply power off without a warning. The unit I had before did say when the battery was low and needed charging. I returned it and ordered a replacement... unfortunately the replacement had the same problem. It'd lock up after some random amount of time. I did actually see this happen a few times on the original unit I had, but it might go several months without happening. I can live with a rare occurrence, but for it to happen daily or even several times a day is ridiculous. Sadly, replacing it didn't help - maybe it's a bad batch. Either way, as it is it's not good. I am a small man with a normal sized head , and it's the smallest Over-ear head set i've ever worn , and being a life long musician and gamer , I got a thumping headache after 30 minute of use due to the headset squeezing my head tightly . No other headset has ever been this tight ,,, not Behringer , Sony , Sennheizer , and a bunch more Chinese no name headsets . A toddler would do fine with this headset . I must give them credit that the sound and noise cancelling is excellent for the price . They need to describe how small this headset is . " World-Class Comfortable " ? Yes , World-Class Comfortable , for a child . I wear a 7' 3/8 motorcycle helmet size , and these gave me a headache after 30 minutes from the squeeze pressure . ... show more

I’m an old purchasing clerk. I won’t tell you exactly how old, but I used to buy parts for an early custom PC shop when almost all PCs were hand-built, and I’ve been surfing the web since it was called ARPANET. Part of the reason I’m a PO is I’m a stingy son of a gun, I throw nickels around like manhole covers. I want value for every penny I spend. So for every purchase, I pay attention to functionality, ergonomics, and durability. I research all purchases very carefully, and I’m very critical of them once I’ve got them. I’m not easy to please. But I can tell you, without hesitation, this pair of headphones hits all my marks: I am quite pleased with them, and I would buy them again, even for my highest-level executive, in a heartbeat. This set of headphones was my personal purchase, but they have become my “LMA” headphones at the office. I work in an open desk and I wear them when I’m head-down over expenditure spreadsheets and need people to leave me alone so I can concentrate, which happens often. I work in a very quiet office, with the occasional loud conversation, and nobody can tell if I’m listening to a conference call, or office music, or nothing at all because the closed-cup construction does not leak sound easily. These headphones can be turned-up very loud, with no perceivable distortion, and you can turn them up loud enough to leak some sound, but I cannot wear them when they’re turned up even 3/4 of the way. Even with my mild hearing loss, that is just way too loud for my comfort. While my ears aren’t what they used to be, I’d say the sound quality is every bit as good as my old Realistic Pro-60 headphones, which is to say, outstanding. The battery life is remarkable. Even with frequent use it can be a week and a half to two weeks between charges. As for the pinhole microphone, the best feedback is no feedback. People tell me I sound just fine during AV conference calls. The noise cancelling function is not the best. For the best NC you would have to spend several hundred dollars. But you hardly need it with the closed-cup construction. I’d estimate the construction alone reduces noise by more than half. Engaging the active NC function reduces what does leak in by more than half again. 75-85% percent noise reduction is very good at this price point. In fact, you may want to take one cup off an ear so you can hear your own voice during conference calls. Ergonomically, I’ve got a big, fat, melon-head and sensitive skin. This set of headphones fits me just fine and the padding covers do not irritate me. This is a comfortable set of headphones that can be worn for extended periods. As for durability, I’ve waited several months before writing this review, and the darned thing looks and works like I just took it out of the box.
