The only thing keeping me from giving full stars is the ridiculously short power cables. They are maybe half as long as the ones on my Corsair fans. I also kinda wish they came with blue LED lights, but that's not as important. I was able to get the cables to just barely reach the fan headers on my MSI Z590 Pro motherboard after I installed one of the fans in the back and one in the ceiling of my Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. I moved my blue lit fans around so that they alternate with the unlit fans. Now the inside of the case is still lit up, but not as bright. More importantly though, my Core i5 CPU stays about 10 to 20 degrees cooler than it was with all Corsair fans. I like how Corsairs look, but I have to admit that Noctua fans are much more powerful. ... show more

I've had a handful of fans and these Redux fans are my go to for many builds for good performance and long life expectancy for the value. It should be obvious that they don't come with anti vibration pads which is not really a big deal in my experience of building PCs. ALL fans are going to loud running at 1500rpm. Don't complain they loud if you run them at full speed all the time. With that said, at 35 to 40% they are practically silent and still move a fair amount of air in some restriction. I put one of these in the front of my micro case and it draws a ton of air in. It blows other no-name brand fans out of the water. You can feel the air moving a few inches away in front of the case and that is without making angry fan noises (like the no-name brand fans). If you don't care about the anti-vibrations corners and RGB lights, these are the fans for you! ... show more

Purchased three of these fans to replace the three in my stock Corsair 700D case. They are light years better in the sound department being super quiet. Air flow seems the same but i was more worried about the sound seeing how the tower is right next to my face on the desk. Easy to install and quiet as a mouse. I used these for intake fans in a fractal design meshify 2 lite case, everything stays nice and cool and feel a good amount of air movement thru the rear of the case. Fairly quiet even at 100%.

It's a case fan, from noctua. It's going to last and if it doesn't then you can contact them and they'll set it straight. Their usual color scheme doesn't go with my build great, but this fit quite well and is nearly silent even when at a decent rpm. Highly recommend.

    • BAREBONES NOCTUA FAN DON'T BE SURPRISED

Great fan. Do your research before buying. These fans are noctua's 'redux' line. If you live under a rock, I'll just say that these are their low end fans; they offer great acoustics and build quality which is typical for Noctua, BUT THEY DON'T COME WITH ANYTHING BUT SCREWS which is why I'm emphasizing doing research and knowing what you're buying. I've seen a couple reviews with people complaining about the lack of rubber anti vibration padding which shouldn't be of a surprise. I had some extra noctua rubber case mounts so I ditched the screws and bypassed the headache/surprise of not having the corner rubber pieces that we see on the Chromax line. No rattles, no squeaks, no RGB, no compromises, no extras, no problem TLDR: great fan. no anti-vibration hardware like we see on the corners of the chromax line; know what you're buying before slandering a great company ... show more
