    • The best tech for battery charging, and great for RV maintenance...
I got this to permanently install in my RV. The goal was to set up one side to maintain the parallel wired AGM house batteries, and the other to maintain the wet cell chassis battery. In the end, it works great. One extension cord to power the charger, and it remembers the settings so there's no guessing which is which. I installed it in the basement compartment next to where the batteries are housed and ran the wires cleanly to the batteries. Now I just plug in the charger when the RV is sitting in storage mode. The only caveat - which I know because I contacted Noco - is that you must unplug the charger (the AC supply) when the batteries are being charged by other sources (shore power, generator, alternator, etc.). I was told that leaving this charger plugged in while the batteries are being charged by another device could damage the charger. But that's no biggie - I have no desire to trickle charge the batteries when I'm actively using the rig. ... show more

+ I like that it has two circuits because I have to motorcycles to leave on and no longer need to have separate chargers laying around. + It mounts on the wall and is easy to see. + The Noco chargers have been safe and friendly for my bikes and haven't had any battery issues. Both batteries are currently between 2 and 3 years old. + Lots of flexibility for battery types and voltage. + No need to worry about accidentally touching positive and negative terminals of the (Genius) chargers - it doesn't send any significant current until it detects a valid connection. This has a drawback/minus (see below) - I dislike that if you leave these plugged in and start your vehicle or motorcycle, that it blows an inline fuse. The fuse on this seems smaller than the fuses on my other Noco chargers, maybe because the others have a higher max amp charge. - This doesn't have the repair function that my other Noco Genius charger has, but I have only had to use that once on my daughter's car because the battery drained all the way a couple of times. - If your battery is completely dead, you may have to use something else to charge it up to a minimal charge before the Noco chargers will recognize a valid connection. Have had a few chargers and battery tenders, but this one is simple wiht good cables and connectors. Reliable keeps the two batteries wired in parallel charged up and ready to go. So easy to get going, lots of cable for remote installation.

Opening the box to this product was an awesome experience. The quality of the packaging and the product is absolutely refreshing to see. The instruction manual must include 40 languages. Extension cables to each bank are long and easy to connect. The product comes with multiple AC cables for different countries. I had two new uncharged jetskis 12V AGM batteries each requiring 2A charging. The LED lights indicated % charge and once charged, maintained a safe charging mode. Took 9hrs foe each battery and worked perfectly. The clamps are high quality and the bank is solid construction. ... show more

    • OUTSTANDING CHARGER - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Purchased this unit to charge, maintain and de-sulfate my marine and RV batteries. Excellent unit! I was able to de-sulfate a marine battery that I thought was unusable. The battery has taken a full charge since the de-sulfation was completion. I have been using it with an inverter to operate a couple of battery chargers and the battery is working great. Great value for the money. One Recommendation. If you have more than 2 batteries, purchase the unit that can handle 4 batteries. Not only do you save money but it is so much more convenient. Probably one of the best, smartest and easiest chargers i have owned, to start i have owned tiny motorcycle trickle chargers as well as larger 24 volt chargers. i would assume with newer technologies they would get smarter but this one resurrected my Optima Blue top for my Jeep that my older charger kept saying was dead. that alone paid for itself as the battery is still going strong after two months with use of my 12500 lb winch, led lights and on board air. when i say smart i really mean smart and safe as the dangerous part about battery charging is making the connections. well the Noco Genius is well, Genius. you can connect the alligator clips first and then simply plug the connector into the charger, and when done charging it shuts off and if you disconnect a terminal it shuts off! brilliant! i opted for the dual since i have to lawn tractors and now i can charge or maintain both at the same time! RV batteries!? send it! charge them both, i am now just looking for batteries to charge...lol ... show more

    • Wow, bar none, the best battery charger I have ever worked with
In the last 24 hours. I used it to force charge a Shorai lithium battery that has been sitting at 0 volts for 3 years (original shorai charger wouldn't turn back on after power outage, parasitic drain dropped battery to zero). I thought this battery was a total loss. It may still be but this was able to force charge it to full charge voltage with no notable heat, lets see if it holds). I was able to figure out it's use without directions. It actually turns back on after an power outage as long as the batteries can provide electricity to power the electronics of the charger. So if it sits too long it won't come back on but all things considering I'm thrilled. Absolutely thrilled. Also the thing is solid as a rock. I just wish the quick connects for the battery were supplied. You have to buy those separately. Instead of sending every countries separate charging cable please start sending out the quick connects so it's easier to put both motorcycles back on charge after use. ... show more
