I narrowed down the entire web to 2 chairs- the Noblechairs HERO and the SecretLabs TITAN. Let me say these are identical chairs with slightly different hardware and materials. The main difference between the two is Noblechairs looks like an Executive level chair while the SecretLabs looks more gimmicky with the excessive logoing from nearly every angle. Overall comfort is almost identical over long periods of time but the foam used on the Noblechairs is firmer, which compresses less and lasts MUCH longer over time. SecretLabs has a more plush feeling initially but it immediately compresses where you can actually feel some of the chassis under the padding. Professionalism and a slightly higher level of comfort pushed me to NobleChairs. I also heard sourcing any repair items from SecretLabs is nearly an impossible feat and most of their items were unable to be stocked/manufactured. I did reach out to each manufacturer before purchasing anything. NobleChairs responded first, got across first, and now has another happy customer in Florida! I highly recommend this product to anyone that could describe themselves as not in optimal comfort while at a desk (this should be almost everyone). ... show more

I've been putting off buying a new computer chair for a while. A website I frequent (HardOCP) had a review of the ICON and later a review of the HERO.The HERO was exactly what I was looking for. However I was a little turned off by the price even with Noble Chairs specs on their website but when the chair went on sale on Amazon I ordered. The chair is worth every cent even if I'd paid full price for it. That also includes customer service. I had an initial problem with one of the arms rattling so bad it made me crazy. I contacted them and had a replacement arm within a couple days. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mix up on the arm they sent me (They sent me the ICON arm). With an email that included some pics of the difference in arms, the issue was quickly fixed. Now I have the perfect chair in my opinion. I didn't want a DXRacer or whatever the brand of the month is. I wanted a chair that would be comfortable for hours of computer use. Some features: Just about every adjustment you could ask for is available. Built in Lumbar support with adjustment Quality stitching Aluminum base and heavy duty piston. The list goes on. Supremely happy with this chair and would suggest to anyone looking for a quality gaming/computer chair to check out Noble Chairs! EDIT: Year and a half later... The gaslift started having issues. It would slowly drop the chair. I sent an email to them asking about the issue. After sending the requested info (To prove I owned the chair) they shipped me a new Gaslift and tilt mechanism for the bottom of the chair without debate and said to let them know if there was anything else. This is customer service. I've been thinking of getting another one for my other computer. I'll get a NOBLE Chair without a doubt. One happy customer. ... show more

So this is my third and probably final chair I'll order on amazon for myself, for a while my first chair was a bucket seat and that's a no go unless your a skinny stick, and I just don't happen to be one ,My 2nd was super comfortable but lacking a headrest. Actual Review I did a lot of research before I bought the chair and everyone did say it was quite stiff and had great lumbar support which it does, I don't mind the stiffness cause it does break in some and it's overall comfortable plus you get a headrest with a pillow, and that's very hard to get out of a chair, and last but not least it supports your thick thigh's that saves lives, which means there's tons of room where you don't feel like your being squished. I also came across some people saying the arm rest were kinda of hard and I agree for that I give it a solid 4 but it's a good solid 4 I still sit in this chair for around 6 hours a day or more I'm just ashamed to say 8 hours a day. ... show more

Do not buy this chair without sitting in it first. I'm not sure if there are retailers who carry this chair so you can sit in it prior to spending a lot of money on it, but do NOT purchase this chair until you try it out. I purchased this chair on 31OCT19 because of it's quality reviews. There were quite a few reviews about the comfort but thought that those are subject to personal taste, so I didn't put as much weight into those reviews as I did about the quality. I wish I would have. The quality is top notch, no doubt, the best quality chair I have ever owned. The comfort is the worst. I am 220lbs and the seat still hasn't broken in enough to be comfortable. It is stiff. With my weight, it compresses about 1/4". The lumbar is nice but the chair doesn't touch from my shoulders up, which kind of defeats the purpose of the headrest, unless you lay all the way back. Unfortunately, i work sitting up, for 10-12 hours each day in this chair. The seat cushion is so stiff that it begins hurting the backs of my legs after an hour or so and the way the contour of the back is, my neck starts to hurt after a couple of hours. I bought an adjustable foot rest, hoping that I could relieve some leg pressure, which helps as long as I'm using the rest. I also bought an inflatable headrest to help with my stiff neck. It also helps but I am still uncomfortable even with the addons. I finally sent the manufacturer a request to return the chair but it was denied because I was past my 30 days, by a week, so now I'm stuck with a $400+ chair that I don't want to sit in. Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a chair that has better comfort reviews. Don't be like me and think that it will eventually soften up because it will not and the back support will still not be contoured to fit a normal person. The other thing about this chair is that it is wide. I wear a 36" waist and have plenty of side to side room. With the armrests moved all the way in, there is 20.5" of space between them. The arm rests are 4" wide, each, so the overall minimum width is 28.5" wide. This is probably nice for very large people, but for average size people, it's too bulky. ... show more
