I bought 2 collars, one small, one medium. They worked fine up until 2 nights ago. The medium one on longer stays on for more than 10 minutes. And it won't go back on unless I connect a charger. But then, the red indicator light only stays on for a few minutes. I can turn it on again, but still only lasts for about 10 minutes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. While I bought these last spring, I didn't really need to start using them until the days started getting shorter. So after maybe a month of early morning and evening walks it seems to be caput! My dog loves to play "Hide from the Human" when he's outside at night. It's like he knows I can't see him so he'll go hide behind bushes and act like he can't hear me calling his name and offering bribes of cookies. With the LED collar he doesn't even try his hide-and-seek game and it offers me peace of mind in case he ever gets loose. I also use it on walks in the evenings so we're more visible to cars. I've been through several LED collars and this one is by far the best! I love that this collar is rechargeable and it holds the charge for a few weeks depending on use. I also like the different color light settings, but I typically keep it on the multi-color setting. My only complaint is that you really have to make sure both sides of the clear tubing are securely inside the light component or the collar can fall off. I've watched it fly off of my dog when he's come inside and shaken off rain or snow. I didn't remove a star for this because for the most part, the collar stays on just fine and it's never fallen off in the backyard. ... show more

I had the old battery operated collars and loved them but I burned through batteries and they were getting expensive. This collar works just as well but when it gets dim, I plug it in for a bit and it's good as new.

Our first two collars, we made nice and tight around the neck. This meant that we had to undo and redo the collar to take on and off. Over time the connection became loose and eventually the collar came off. Eventually that resulted in lost collars. Now we make it bigger and looser so we can slide over the head and never undo the collar. Since then, no lost collars. All the connections remain solid. ... show more
