Description

The NiSi HUC IR Neutral Density Filter ND32000 (4.5) 15 Stop is specially designed for landscape photographers. This filter is made from high-quality optical glass with nano coating to prevent losing any single bit of detail. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 4.5 density provides a 15 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. The ND Filter creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control the depth of field and convey movement in your images. The ND32000 (15 Stop) is widely used to capture extreme long exposure images (usually 3-6 mins in daylight), to create effects like cloud movement or cloud softening.By using neutral density filters the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which will cast the unwanted red color to the photos when shooting at a small aperture. The added the infrared protection coating layer to this filter which helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural color.

  • Quality Filter with EPIC Results!!!
Size: 77mm Color: 15-Stop

  • Sunny long exposure? No problem
Size: 77mm Color: 15-Stop
This product is really great. I have a Job which requires me to be there at 3 am into the early afternoon, which also means I have to go to bed early. Basically I completely miss the golden our of sunrise or sunset. With this 15 stop nd filter, im completely able to go out at high noon on the sunniest of days and get a good long exposure. The quality of this product is absolutely worth the cost. If you don't have a camera that can preview what it's seeing, you may have trouble getting the right focus, you will just have to focus before putting it on and be very careful not to move your lens when attaching. ... show more

  • 2 filters in one with zero color cast
Size: 77mm Color: 3-Stop
I originally was using polar pro ND filters but then I found out that the BMPCC 4K does not have an IR filter. So the more ND I was applying the warmer the shadows were becoming. I did some digging and was recommended this filter. The NiSi filters have built-in IR cut filters. So not only is it two filters and one but it's also very lightweight with zero color cast. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • pass it by
Size: 72mm Color: 15-Stop
Leaves artifacts and provokes hotspots at smaller apertures. Waited too long otherwise I would have returned this.

  • Good filter but limited.
Size: 77mm Color: 15-Stop
