I'm a professional travel blogger. That said, I've gone through my fair share of these toiletry bags and this one is great. In fact, I'll be ordering a 2nd one for ...ahem, adult toy storage in my closet, to replace the one I have. For travel, what I love about this is: 1. It looks beautiful and elegant. It does come rather smashed which just shows me what it will look like in a few trips anyway, but overall, the quality is lovely. 2. Fabric: It's velvety soft, which I love. The embroidery on the fabric will make inevitable scuffs hard to see. 3. Cleaning: I'm not sure yet how well it will keep clean or if water stains will eventually show but considering the price, I would be happy to replace it and scotch guard the next one if it's an issue. You may want to do that off the bat. The inside is definitely an easy fabric to clean. 4. The inside pockets were cleverly designed. The way it has been made, you can go with larger full sized items or smaller ones and still hold them in place. In the past, I've tossed out similar bags because they could only do one or the other. 5. IT'S LIGHTWEIGHT. I have a designer bag like this, that is leather and its extremely heavy. That adds to my luggage weight limits in a bad way. This thing is sooooo light and for me, that is HUGE. I travel so much, I'm in the habit of weighing pretty much everything I buy to save a few ounces. In fact, with this thing, I can avoid having to check a bag and make the weight limits with my carry on. YESSSS! 6. Zippers are smooth and stitching looks solid. Only time will tell how well these hold up though. Overall, I'm thrilled with this purchase. This is the BEST makeup bag I have ever owned!! I can fit all my make up, soap, and other toiletries in it. My other make up bag only fit my make up and that was it. I cut down on two extra bags and it still feels like it’s the same size as my other one. I really think this is a well done travel makeup bag, you can fit A LOT. Looks bigger in person. My only problem is… the bag itself is TOO HEAVY! I cannot imagine how heavy this will be after I put my stuff in it. For me this is an issue because when I travel my luggage can only be 10 pounds. If this is 2 pounds already without anything in it then it doesn’t work for me. On the positive note this is well done and looks very sturdy! ... show more

Whenever I go on a trip, I take this with me everywhere! It has so much storage space but is still very compact when folded up and fits in my suitcase! I am so happy I bought this in place of my three makeup bags I used to use, I highly recommend!

I've tried bags with only a few pockets, but nothing beats this bag of many pockets! I love that the compartments have clear covers so that everything can be easily seen. Also the variety of sizes of pockets is very useful. Being able to hang it from the hook is very handy, however, the only down side is that when hanging, if the pocket zippers are undone it sags a bit, but it's not too bad and soon goes back to shape when it's all zipped up. I bought a set of small-ish bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash which worked really well for a 10 day vacation. I like this bag so much I've bough it again for a gift and will probably buy more. ... show more
