    • Nice fragrance, made my scalp a little itchy.
I liked the idea of a system that would help with lightly thinning hair. I decided to use it for a month to trial it out. I enjoyed the fragrance and the way the shampoo & conditioner lathered up in the shower. However, almost immediately my hair felt dry. I went ahead and continued using the product for the rest of the month to see if it improved. Nearing the end of the trial, I had a scalp & hair exam scheduled at a hair doctor and they said my scalp was showing some inflamation. I am unsure if my scalp was previously inflammed before Nioxin, however I also can confirm that my scalp has a slight itchiness to it. I'll be moving to another shampoo to trial that out instead. ... show more

    • Exactly what I needed
Works wonders. I have psoriasis on my scalp and it reduced it after the first use. After the 4th treatment you couldn't tell I have the condition. You can NOT skip a treatment though. It will be, nearly, as bad as before using it all over again.

the product itself claimed to help prevent hair loss, but too bad I have lost more hair than before

    • What a difference
I think my smell is broken so this could smell great but my nose says nope! Asking others, they said it smelled more minty or like menthol (not according to my nose). So covid caused me to lose hair. My doc said give it 6 months to a year. It's been 6 months so I dunno. I have baby hairs galore, it's all a mystery if it's just time that's healing or this product. I'm buying more since I have no clue, I just know I don't have hair all over my shower, floor, carpet and comb. ... show more
